I've said that Hillary is no wonder candidate multiple times, many liberals have. As a generic statement, I wanted anyone but. But to say she's as bad as Trump, come one, that is a stretch. She's got some deleted emails, a dead ambassador, and some sketchy charity timing. Should we take a collective toll on the Trumps red flags? It's proven that his supporters are so prideful they won't admit a mistake in nominating him, or standing behind him.
Trump could piss on Detla's mother's grave and he would tell us its okay because Hillary didn't go to Nancy R's Funeral.

Narcissist at it again with the personal stuff. He could piss on a grave and I would not care at this point because democrats are violent racist socialists that need to be dealt with.

50 Shades - Its Fiction, sorry... there are also book about murders and/or far worse.
Bill Clinton, maybe it was true maybe it wasn't. But it did happen during a time when he wasn't campaigning, and media coverage wasn't as prevalent. So we can criticize him all we want and if it is true than he should be. But don't use it as a distraction from Trumps shenanigans.

What is not fiction is the people who read and went to the movie are more likely than not the people who vote for Hillary. Faux outrage. They engage in the fantasy of the book. That is why it was written and that is why the movie was made.
Bill Clinton was absolutely true. He was busted for lying in court of law about it. He has many people who have stood up and said he did these things. Hillary attacked those women with full intent and she is for women huh?

There is nothing wrong with Trumps tax record. That is a YOU issue. I have no problem with Bill and Hillary evading taxes either considering it is the law. You have an issue of keeping up with your own faux outrage. Posting while drunk makes it hard to keep up with your internal lies.
60 diplomats die under Bush or was Bush responsible for their death by not answering calls for help during a fire fight? Seems a little different. Did those diplomats die while running illegal guns to rebels or is that a different issue?
Bush can delete emails. They are archived. Hillary tried to set up outside servers, used multiple phones, broke those phones to cover up her transgressions, lied about erasing the emails, lied that their was classified information, got caught and then lied that her concussion made her forget what the classified markings were (is sworn testimony no less) and you want to say it is the same thing?
uh huh....you certainly have the right lecture on ethics, but you certainly do not have the ability.

The purpose of attacking Trump is to build Hillary. Look at most of the posts. They are usually people bringing in something to either disparage Trump or to mock Republicans which has been very typical of all most all election cycles.

For a guy who can't tell the difference between entertainment and the President of the US I don't think you should be lecturing on ethics either. You do know that normal people who watch violent movies don't actually think it's ok to act like that in real life? And that you can't defend the actions of a person on the basis of entertainment portraying socially unacceptable behavior? And that your Benghazi BS has been discredited in the eyes all rational people at this point.

The purpose of attacking Trump is to make sure that the idiot doesn't get in the executive office. Not sure why that needs to be explained, since it's incredibly obvious.

Even if things don't get real bad, methinks that there are a fair number of partisans who will say how bad things are anyhow.
I mean for instance, the "worst president ever" has Reagan-level approval ratings. Trump whooped Hillary in the last debate.... according to 28% of those surveyed. Benghazi investigation is serious business, except to former secretaries of state Powell and Rice.
And on and on. I'm glad for your input here, Delta, and I'm glad you come back. I know you listen even if you don't agree. It's folks who lock themselves in the echo chamber and throw away the key that I really worry about.

Do you think the media and folks so worked up over Trump's stupid audio will get worked up over this Obama video?

Trump boasts about barging into the Miss Teen America dressing rooms and ogling 15 year olds.
“I’ll go backstage and everyone’s getting dressed, and everything else, and you know, no men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it,” Trump said in the 2005 interview, published Saturday by CNN. “I sort of get away with things like that.”
Some women who competed in the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant, which Trump also owned, shared similar stories with BuzzFeed News.
“I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a man in here,’” said Mariah Billado, former Miss Vermont Teen USA, according to BuzzFeed.
“I’m telling you Donald Trump owned the pageant for the reason to utilize his power to get around beautiful women,” Dixon said. “Who do you complain to? He owns the pageant. There’s no one to complain to. Everyone there works for him.”
Lovely.

lol. This video has been going around for years and it is nothing. You can't make anything out in the video and the narrative posted by that site is all in the eye of the beholder. Much different than Trump saying he sexually assaults girls.

News flash, Obama IS the President not trying to become President so even if it cast him in a bad light what does it matter, he is gone in 2 months. If it is your position that Obama is bad so it doesn't matter that Trump is bad then give yourself an uppercut and come to your senses. Judge each person on there own merits.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bush_W...il_controversy - the RNC's server, by definition is a private server. Oh, and he deleted over 3M emails......
Don't forget Romney also deleted a pile of emails: https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nat...KYM/story.html
You guys can let go of the email thing, there just isn't anything there. Your republican committees spent a **** ton of money to make it something it just isn't. Same with Benghazi.
Trump's taxes matter and so does Hillary's. There is a difference in using the system as intended, and scamming the system. If Hillary had something to hide, then she wouldn't have released her tax records. Where are Trumps?
Now people are saying he walked into the changing room of under-aged pageant contestants...let me guess, still does not make him a bad guy?
Just come out and say it, you don't like Hillary because she's a woman. It's okay, your not the first sexist to support Trump. I mean why else would relentlessly defend him with attacks against her?

RNC emails are not part of the freedom of information act and also don't include classified material. It simply is not the same. She LIED to congress over 30 times in her testimony. Martha Stewart lied once and went to prison.
I will come out and say it about Hilary:
All her intellectual work was that of a leftist internationalist.
Her political career is about sharing the middle classes wealth and sharing America's wealth to the 3rd world.
Her stance on the 2nd amendment is unacceptable.
I do not want a progressive appointing Supreme Court justices.
She was for TPP and other share the wealth treaties.
She attacked many women who attempted to stand up to Bill for his actions and using his position of power for his illegal quid pro quo sexual acts with women
She lied to the FBI
Those are the general policy and intellectual basis for disliking her.
The following are more of reasons that are more political but still have merit by some peoples definition:
I don't like that she gets away with doing illegal activities
I think she has the health issues
I think she only wants the job to go into history and no more
I think she corrupted the system to get where she is
Her foundation is taking money from other countries for access
How does she and Bill get so rich from public service jobs?
I think she was party to the Arab Spring
I think she and other democrats are trying to destabilize the US with illegal immigration and Muslim influence from war zones.
She has not built a darn thing.
She is a life long politician.
I don't vote for someone because their color or their gender. I don't get caught up in "history". I don't care about their taxes because the only reason people want them is to do more of the blame game. I have never once called for the taxes of any presidential candidate. A business person's taxes are going to be way more complicated than a "public" servant. You know it and I know it. Heck, look how you guys are acting with a person who lost $900 million due to the government passing a regulation that directly cost him the money and he was completely legal in doing so.
Trust me. I pretty much believe all you business types are dirty in some fashion. So are the politicians. All the tax incentives you get are the reasons that many of us can not even afford a nice pick up truck anymore for instance because so many "businesses" buy them for work write them off. Supply and demand. I have learned to live with it.
I don't trust Trump or Clinton or any person seeking power for that matter. All I can do is try and see which one is for America First. Not playing races or economics against the people. Those who in theory are more pro state when it comes to general government. I want a strong military. I am sure we can throw more things against the wall for comparison however those are things off the top of my head. I don't see that coming from the Democrat party. Have not seen it in some time.

Grant maybe you should start contributing. Please explain what the place I've lived for the last 18 months has to do with anything?
Couple more women have come forward about Trump physically assaulting them sexually. Sounds like it's just the tip of the iceberg.
Question: you guys who just say that his talking about assaulting women is "just talk" - how do you feel if he has actually assaulted women?

Marth Stewart was going to prison because she did something actually illegal. Not sure why you can't accept that what she did was stupid, but not illegal. You guys have spent millions trying to prove that it was. But you can't.
The reasons you don't like Hillary are fine, except again you are bringing up things that aren't factual. You think the women would agree to sit next to Bill if he raped them? You must not have a zero class in psychology if you believe that is normal behavior for a rape victim.
The rest of it is just standard paranoia from you that can be argued both ways. But I can at least say it is a POV. The other stuff is just baseless.

It's hilarious... The republicans have spent millions of taxpayer money on a witchhunt that went nowhere.. and yet Rod and Grant and Mark and crew just sit here and continue to cry Benghazi while their boy's polls go down the tubes.
But the "polls are crooked" as Trump is now telling his supporters today - LOL these morons will believe anything pussygrabber says. And now his followers want to repeal the 19th amendment... oy

Bravo- First time that I can remember you're actually talking politics. In my mind, it's one of your best post. I'll even go as far to say that some of those are reasons that Hillary didn't make my top 5 of first choices.
Your second list is a pretty far stretch and boarders conspiracy theory. But, a reason America is Great, is that your entitled to that.

How is it that you guys want such a weak-ass thin-skinned crybaby as your pres? And I thought he "wiped the floor" with Clinton at the debate, right guys? Lol
Donald Trump blasted the Commission for Presidential Debates on Wednesday, claiming the bipartisan group is “rigged” and declaring himself “done” with it.
“The head guy worked for Bill Clinton. Ay yai yai. What a rigged deal this is,” Trump said at a rally in Florida. He was referring to CPD co-chair Mike McCurry, who served as Clinton’s press secretary for three and a half years. What Trump did not mention is that McCurry’s co-chair is Frank Fahrenkopf, chairman of the Republican National Committee while Ronald Reagan was president.
Trump went on to suggest that he might skip the third debate, scheduled for October 19 in Las Vegas. “I have no respect for that group, by the way, I’m done,” he said of the CPD.

I had coffee with my attorney this morning and had an interesting conversation. Trump is filing suit against the NY Times for the latest story on groping women. He went though the black and white and what would have to be proved to win any libel or defamation suit against a publication. I'll save the lengthly details but the short is if he looses the suit then it essentiality proves that the story was factually correct and they had at least two sources for each claim. He went on to say those cases are extremely hard to win.
My question is why would he take that risk? Is he going to go through with it? Is the suit true?
Once again, the red flags were there but he still won the nomination..... why did conservative nation pick him?

Apparently a lot of Trump's perceived wealth is the value of his name as a brand. I wonder how much his name will be worth after the election?

zactly. will the name be associated with luxury or bufoonery? I know his supporters say they don't care and they support him, but I don't think his supporters are actually booking $600/night hotel rooms either.

Did you see NBC had the Audio/Video of Trump and Bush WEEKS before it was leaked. Insiders said that NBC wanted to leak the tape just before the debate so it would have maximum damaging effects for TRUMP. So much for fair and balanced reporting & the media trying to manipulate the election.

Are we still moaning about the bias of the media after all this time? We get it... The incredible successful manipulator of the truth i.e. Fox News has spawned a bunch of right wing media wannabees and convinced the rest of the major media that there is money in partisan politics. The right is all thrilled about this when their single wonderfully right bias network is king of the hill. But when they end up losers because the rest of the less successful networks gang up on them with a liberal bias, then that's not fair.

Good thing the Ruskies hacked Podesta's e-mail account only last week and serendipitously got that info to wikileaks just on the eve of the debate. I mean that was TOTALLY RANDOM! /sarcasm
Grant, Trump knew he had a mic on. He said stuff. He is now running for president. The fact that every single minute of everything he's ever said is being scrutinized should not trouble or surprise him. I mean holy cow I've heard people crying foul over Hillary's litigation strategy as a baby lawyer on the watergate committee. That was more than 40 friggin years ago!
Additionally, Trump has to see that he lives by the sword and dies by the sword. All of that free media he got in the primaries -- was that part of the media conspiracy too? Or was it merely the fact that the more outrageous he gets, the more people watch? You don't think a good old fashioned down home locker room recounting of sexual conquests fits that same narrative/model?

you guess aren't seriously saying that the media isn't extremely left biased are you?
Fox news is a result of years and years of media bias from the left.

yes, Trump doesn't really have a leg to stand on when it comes from the media replaying his outlandish remarks.

You seem to be more and more triggers Wes. This is an enormous amount of protesting from you comparatively speaking. You and a couple of others keep repeating over and over that Trump is going down the tubes. Next things happens you shout it louder. That does not equal confidence. That is usually the attempts of a person who believse the facts are against them but try and get others to believe otherwise.

Cliff, you know I lean liberal, even if I'm not one of the tire burning anarchists that Delta tries to portray us as.
That said I try really hard to listen to all sides. Make a conscious effort to tune in to fox and listen to conservative talk radio.
Here's my take. Traditional media outlets (let's say CBS/NBC/ABC/NYT/WaPo/LA Times/NPR/CSM) in general tend to skew intellectual rather than "left." What I mean by that is that they have reporters who gather stories -- stories have sources and those sources generally have facts. Meet the Press, as an example, always has conservative commentators and guests. NPR interviews republican lawmakers as frequently as dems.
Talk radio is not "media" in the traditional sense. Glenn Beck doesn't have reporters stationed around the world. He just comments on what others report (in between his efforts to scare me into hoarding gold).
Fox is a bit jekyl and hyde. On the one hand they have their CNN-like daytime news operation which generally does report the news, though usually with a slight skew to the right. Their evening commentators, however, (a) do not deliver news at all (they are just like Glenn Beck, but on TV), and (b) skew VERY right -- Hannity to the point of fanboi ridiculousness. There is nothing "news," "fair," or "balanced" about Hannity or O'Reilley. They are merely partisan commentators.
In all cases they HATE any sort of intellectual or reasoned point of view, and much much moreso this cycle. You only need to look as far as how George Will and Bill Cristol (sp?) have fared lately.
Jury is still out for me on Megyn Kelly. She shows flashes of brilliance and rational thought pretty frequently. Other times though I feel like she's just working through the Fox talking points. She's the future though.

Of course the media is left biased. You know that there is no saying... "Reality has a conservative bias". Since bias is a relative thing once the right went off the deep end it became "extremely".

We got about a month left. A lot of little bombs have dropped on both sides. I'm curious to see if one big enough will drop to completely push this election to one side once and for all.

Given the poll shift it's pretty much over save for some big bomb Mark and Rod are hoping for. Trump's last strategy is a race for the bottom that makes turnout suffer.
Don't forget though, even when he loses, he wins since he'll take the low information voters with him straight to the bank via his new alt-right media outlet.

^^^Trump over the beast 43-41 today. LOL! Her cankles gotta just be shaking and flopping right now. No matter how hard the media and the beast try, they can't knock him out. THAT is how PO'd the public is about the corruption in our whole system which is 100% embodied by the beast. It doesn't matter what he's done in the past. They know that he isn't corrupt like her and most of what comes out of her mouth is a lie.

Lol, I wouldn't blow your load over a single national poll. State polls are much more important, as is aggregating - there are always outliers (like this one). Fivethirtyeight can help

That graph seems in direct conflict with the poll. Bottom line is he's trending up no matter what the media says now. I think people actually DO know what Trump is/was like. (Probably still is) That's what makes this so fun to watch and that's how corrupt the beast is. People are sick of it and sick of her.

The graph is not a graph of the poll. It's a graph of how likely the candidate will be elected based (apparently) on the poll numbers. So even though Johnson may poll a few percent, it's only <0.1% likely a person polling at a few percent will win. Good luck on your belief of what the polls are vs reality. Only a few more weeks till reality check. It's apparent that Trump supporters are really getting deperate. For example check out this 5 hour old "Breaking" news of Trump rise in the polls.
http://www.webdaily.com/2016/10/13/b...-not-be-close/
The link that it gets it's data from is dated July 2016. Well if you look at the source on the latest polls this is not good news for Trump.
https://www.qu.edu/news-and-events/q...ReleaseID=2384
Or this one. This has got to be a gold star in the credibility of good news for Trump supporters, right?

Just to echo that, with some context on 538/NateSilver. There forecast model has a track record of being 99% accurate on the state by state in both Senate and Presidential elections. All polls that are taken into account are given a rate based on historical performance and then outcomes adjusted to reflect that individual poll.
In short, their forecast quantitates everything variable and factors it in. It isn't just a poll, but a collection of all polling data which is then scrubbed and presented. I'm very impressed by the level of detail provided.

And Mark, it's not all bad news for you. As I mentioned in an earlier post, it looks like a decent number of the people fleeing Trump in understandable disgust will be splitting their vote and going with GOP senators to balance... which honestly you better hope for because if Dems take the senate, there are 18 or so days where they are in session while Obama is still pres and it only takes 51 votes to push through the dozens of judicial nominees the current senate refuses to even vote on...

Hilderbeast is a lier therefore it doesn't matter if Trump is a Narcissit or incompetant. This statement is just not rational.

All these polls don't mean a heck of a lot at this point.. but they do reinforce the notion both suck so bad they are helping the other candidate.
If either were worth a dayum this would be so far apart that there wouldn't be a discussion.
I am more curious what the voter turnout is going to be.. seems a lot of folks plan to sit this one out. The winner is likely to be the one that can most of their "team" out to vote and have no conscious voting for a POS.

Actually I think I misspoke on the ballot. I don't think they are actual ballots. I think they are the registration information. To be honest I don't pay too much attention to them as I like to go vote in person.
As far as not counting, It is this state is so overwhelmingly liberal, it does not matter what I vote in regards to personnel. Also, before I usually go to vote at the end of the work day, the presidential election usually has a winner. It in some cases helps suppress votes in California because people will not go to the polls if their candidate has been defeated and nothing super hot in the local initiatives.
Oddly enough, the people do see taxes they don't like from time to time so there is value in voting.

...and the beast is not only those things you called Trump, but CORRUPT to boot. Like Hollywood movie kind of corrupt. I'd say the stupid voter votes for someone who is corrupt. To knowingly vote for a corrupt person is treasonous in my mind. Never mind the political, personal or personality disorders. She is corrupt! There's no getting past that. She's unredeemable. Wake up people!!! She is the poster child for everything that's wrong with politics in our country. You lib's will all have blood on your hands if that crooked troll gets into office.

Yep, that's the Donald to a T. So his solution to what he views as a corrupt politician is a corrupt narcissistic incompetent pussygrabber. Makes sense.

...and you call other people stupid... He might not be a slick, polished politician, but he's not incompetent. Narcissist? Check. However, narcissism is utterly benign compared to corruption. More importantly, he's willing to listen to people that know more than him about specific things. From the beginning, he's said he plans to delegate and build a coalition of people he trusts who are the best in their field of (fill in the blank). His role will be more like a coach as opposed to someone down in the trenches getting dirty with details and minutia. In fact, that's one of the points he needs to go back to and drive home in his campaign.
Vote for Johnson? Ha! That's the same as voting for the beast.

And yet he's cycled through a line of second and third string campaign managers and failed to take their advice to conduct internal opposition research that might have helped to end the current controversy before it started.
http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/ar...ition-research
A great example of how narcissism is potentially damaging. As he's said with the "locker room talk" incident, it was only words, not actions. Turning that around, he might say that he'll surround himself with the best people and take their advice, but the conduct of his campaign sure suggests otherwise.

I think both candidates have done a great job of convincing America that their opposition is not fit to lead. Just try to make the case for Trump without mentioning Clinton (or the other way). Anyone who will defend a pile of crap because the other pile smells worse is dumb. They are both crap.

That is because your poll is form Breitbart. I wouldn't post a poll from HuffingtonPost and expect it to get my point across(even though it would be more accurate than Breitbart).
I love it. Again you guys on the right have resorted to quoting crazy websites like Anonymous and Breitbart.

I don't typically post on Internet forums in regards to religion or politics. There is no changing of people's minds in these discussions. There are posters on here that I've held in high regard based on my perceived notions of their intelligence, reasonableness, and critical thought. Whether I agree with their side of the issue or not, I at least respect their thought process. These last few weeks of this thread have brought out the ugly, though. Guys are getting mean, petty, and throwing personal attacks around. It's a perfect representation of the country as a whole. We've lost the desire to find common ground to solve issues, and have devolved into the lowest form of blind partisanship in history. A lot of folks think the last 8 years have been divisive, but I fear the next 8 will be absolutely devastating to this nation, regardless of who wins. I'm not saying I have a solution, I only have a sense of dread.
Neither of these political parties represents me.... I don't fit into either mold nicely. I'm a small business owner struggling to survive. I have a meeting with my insurance broker today, trying to find an answer to a health insurance/benefits package that is financially crippling me. Argue all you want about the ACA, in my personal experience it has been devastating for my company and my family. The financial impact was so great that I also have a job with a huge national corporation, primarily to obtain medical coverage for myself and my family. Who gets my vote to fix that?
I hunt, my son hunts, we enjoy shooting sports. I don't want the government tracking my ammunition purchases. I also don't personally have an issue with SOME of the restrictions on weapon ownership, I don't feel a need for the typical citizen to own radically capable weapons. That being said, I laugh at most of the talking heads and fear mongers when they start talking about "assault weapons", realizing that the vast majority of the opposition to gun ownership has zero concept of how guns work. So the NRA guys label me a traitor, but here in California I probably would be considered a radical militia nutjob out to overthrow the government because I have a safe full of weapons (legal and registered), and will oppose any further restriction on my ownership and use of those guns. Who do I vote for to address this?
Race in America....depressing how far backwards we seem to be moving. Racism exists. No government will ever legislate hate out of certain people's hearts. That can only come with social, personal change and improvement. However, to deny that this country has not made advancements in equality is to deny fact. We have in fact legislated away most of the ability for racism to operate out in the open, but that's as far as we can go. Beyond equal opportunity laws and protections, only individual respect and honor can bring about any further improvements. And that respect and honor needs to come from every person involved. No politician can cure hate, from any angle.
I'm 51 years old and on the downhill side of my journey, so I'll do what I can to be right for my friends, family, and community. What causes me the most worry is what this country holds in store for my kids.
