nick. if he wants to keep posting in this thread, it's his freaking choice. stop. you're not going to convince him. just stop.
You're right Umali. I shouldn't even bother trying to get the topic back to some vague form of sanity. It's the internet, silly me. If he wants to continue acting like a jackass, then it is his choice. Good call sir.
After reading bits and pieces of this the only thing clear is, who cares.
Its his legal right to carry a weapon. He clearly has done his homework on the issue and prefers to carry. Good for him. Hopefully he will never have to use it on anyone. Im willing to bet that he has the same hope.
I wouldn't carry on the slopes. Not only do I not think it's necessary, but I also wouldn't want it to break ribs during a hard fall. The problem I see is the idea that a handgun would've come in handy during the confrontation in the OP vid. No responsible CCP holder should be thinking about pulling in a situation like that.
^No, this is the Wild, Wild West. We shoot first, ask questions later. My new dilemma is my 44 magnum, Dirty Harry special, won't fit in the pocket of my boardshorts.
I think anyone packing should have to wear a bright orange hat when they are at a ski resort.
well, its not like any customer are really in danger, but if the gunman sees all the orange hats all around the resort he will probably keep his gun in his pocket.
"No responsible CCP holder should be thinking about pulling in a situation like that."
Right, but some folks need to be carrying so they can walk away from the situation. Otherwise they might not be able to control themselves and may just start throwing punches or something.
