Rosenstein signed at least 2 of them. There was much more info in addition to the dossier provided to get the warrants. In addition, Fusion was hired by the republicans initially. Yes the IRS audited me 25 years ago. I was kinda panicked. I spent hours re-creating my calendar, receipts, milage, write-offs....had no idea the root cause. I got to the audit and waited for a hour, nervous. The agent came out, it was time. He said they were running late that day and I could go home. Done. That was my audit. I dont cheat on my taxes and wasnt worried that I had so I didnt get away with anything and if the IRS had issue, yeah they dropped the ball. Do you know what is owed to the IRS and they dont collect? Seems stupid to be owed soo much yet not have the manpower to collect. Didnt realize trumps taxes were TOP SECRET. Congress has every right to go forward and hold Mnuchin in contempt.
the dems do it so that the voters can see what they make, what they write off, who has loans, where does income come from....its called transparency and helps write the story of who the candidate is. Truth in govt. Agree, it is not a requirement. Every single candidate has since 1972. The dems are now releasing not just one but 10+ years, not a requirement but they practice what they preach. Only one person has refused since Nixon. The guy who said "I have nothing with Russia" as he was attempting to build Trump Moscow. The guy who states how smart he is but sues his schools so as to not let out his grades. The guy who lies to you everyday. If it was Obama or Clinton who refused, what are your thoughts? Thanks.

So if "they are mostly crooks", why do you believe that Trump is the only honest one out there? What about his past suggests that he is honest? You cannot claim you "don't care" because everyone of your posts has turned into you defending Trump.

Hey, dumbass, there are very few Americans that are pro-abortion. Just because I don't give a ***** if a woman chooses to have a LEGAL, medical procedure performed, it doesn't make me a supporter of "murder". It's not my business.
Yeah, "NAZI is my party". Remind me again of which president has garnished the most support of white nationalists and other white supremacy groups. Hell, Trump was defending the dumbasses that were marching around with Tiki torches in VA.

Oh please. He has released evidence that Nike funneled money to Zion Williamson's mother. They got pissed. You are just doubting him because he represented the porn star that Trump blatantly lied about paying off. Hopefully, Trump didn't give her any STD's.

I am for one glad that you are for letting the professionals handle these cases so I stand with you in letting Muellers recommendation stand and we all move on. Well except for the part where the democrats are under investigation. I look forward to all you other democrats who are for truth in politics to equally condem the democrat party for the next year or two until the truth is known.
I second your stance on hillary. Law enforcement did not recommend charges so again I stand with you on condemning your fellow democrats for their behavior on saying Trump is guilty and now wanting follow up investigations on Trump.
Nice dodge about Bill Clinton. I will take you thought it was political so I stand correct. People do get prosecuted for political reasons.

No, you are not a "radical". You are a gullible dumbass that will apparently fall for anything.
Still waiting for your justification of your "Tax returns are not final". Or that the Earth's temperature is on pace to increase "4 degrees" and that it's no big deal.

Do any of you dumbasses realize the financials to run for president are more in depth than any tax returns? Keep parroting your truthy media. You should be more worried about Lisa Pages under oath testimony:
FBI lawyer Lisa Page stated that, contrary to standard FBI procedure in counterintelligence operations, the Trump campaign, purportedly the target of Russian infiltration, had not been warned of the Kremlin’s nefarious efforts because the FBI did not deem the Steele dossier reliable enough to compel such a warning.

I don't believe he is honest either. No one is 100% honest and when it comes to someone trying to get your money to give to others I absolutely believe they are dishonest. That is why I believe democrats are way worse.

Awe. Personal attack by you? Say it isn't so!!
Sorry bud. Many NAZI's turned their backs while the henchmen were going through with their murderous plans. You may not care, but the people you are voting for sure a using your vote and putting it into overdrive.
I love this how white nationalist theme is big in favor with you democrats. I am sure that they collect who is and is not a white nationalist when they vote. Historically the democrats got all those votes. Even elected a high Klan leader all the way until 2010.
So you still believe because someone says there are good people on both sides of the debate, that automatically says a person only supported some idiots in the crowd? There is no getting through to people like you. You realize there were more communists in the crowd than there were NAZI types right? Those Communists that you seem to like have burned down many buildings in many cities and have beat up people in your name. I say your name because you seem to think there was only one bad group at that one and only protest and they were not the communists. You must be in lock step with them.

There is no finally regarding that testimony, its out. Rep Doug Collins released Page testimony too, here you go. Yesterday I posted James Bakers testimony. Public info bro. You know what isnt? Muellers report Barr has been sitting on for 3 weeks while he pushes trumps conspiracy theories that these testimonies refute. Deep State, lol.
Im curious to understand more about "the financials" to run for pres.
https://dougcollins.house.gov/sites/...%20Day%201.pdf
https://dougcollins.house.gov/sites/...%20Day%202.pdf
If "mostly all" politicians are crooks isnt it a good idea to require tax returns? May help weed out those crooks dont you think? At minimum a step in the right direction making it more difficult for the crooks to continue to keep thieving. Id like to see a credit report too. If you cant pay your own bills you shouldn't be running govt. I require credit reports on 100% of my rentals and have minimum FICO scores to qualify. Trust but verify.

And your confirmation bias is at it again. What does that article have to do with anything? It is a biased hit piece hilariously enough written about a different article and then comes back to bash Trumps people. Damn man. Get off the sauce. This really is the Kardashians with you. Did the article talk about how many of teh Clinton's were in with Epstein? You know the ones who actually doing the alleged crime or are the only going to bash Trump and say by the way, this guy was a prosecutor in the area (never said he had the case, just said he was a top federal prosecutor in the area). It just makes my head spin with the lack of comprehension when you post these things.

lack of comprehension... Acosta got this creep the biggest sweetheart deal, probably on the list too. If you think they are all crooks, do something other that fight and support them.

They get that worth is a very short time. Taxes and housing will eat through that in a heart beat in DC, California and New York. Around $102,000 a year in our area to not be considered low income for a family.

Talk about falling for anything. Look in the mirror.
Why are you worried about the earth getting 4 degrees hotter? You believe in evolution right? Well, according to you humans or human figures lived just fine through all the other periods where the earth was 4 degrees warmer. You ever wonder why there are all these places all over the earth that they say used to be sea beds? Was it because of Humans? Nope. Let you in on another terrifying fact. Where you live will be right next to a glacier again too. You can't control that. But good news for you evolution types. Man had to live through that too. So, I don't see what your problem is with it. They are the facts of life. They happened without human influence and will happen again. Only difference is, you actually believe you can stop it if you just send your money to some poor african nation and let them make the laws that govern us.

Well it's going to influence where people can (and want to) live, and will definitely impact where food can be grown. Ma Nature doesn't care about your borders either.
Those seem like pretty solid national security concerns.

Agree, Clinton is in that little black book. Lock the loser up!. Thats the difference between R and D. Democrats clean the swamp. Republicans continue fill it by hook or by crook, to lie cheat steal even support them in elections (Judge Roy Moore, Duncan Hunter, Dennis Hof, the dead pimp in Vegas they elected...…)
Acosta worked the deal so this got off. He pleaded guilty to sex w/ a 16 yr old, not the 13,14,15 he was using. At 16 thats legal in many states including where the delinquent owned a 10,000 sqft house, and he did not have to sign up as a sex offender. Was free to take off to work each day (or whatever he was up to). Dude should have spent the rest of his life behind bars and Acosta negotiated the deal. You may feel a little different if you knew one of those girls. Google the story if you dont believe me. Go ahead keep sticking up for F#@@%^()%#@%^&&. Winning.
I did not vote trump nor Clinton, I disliked both. I did what I felt was best. The fact I didnt vote for either makes me more right than anyone who voted for...well either.

Maybe because we will all be dead? You just don't understand the difference between weather and climate.
What does evolution have to do with this conversation? If you don't know what you are talking about, maybe you should just avoid the conversation altogether.

It's you Trumpsters that talk about a war with other Americans. If you really want to see a real Nazi, go find a mirror.

I don't "support abortion". I support a women's right to choose to have an abortion. Being you should realize there is a difference between the two. There is zero "blood on my hands". I'm glad you think you are morally superior for believing that a woman should be forced to have a baby as a consequence of being raped. I bet Jesus will give you a big shiny medal when you get to heaven.

Lol. To put it in perspective for ya, here’s a pretty accurate illustration of what he’s doing to you and yours, but you can keep goin on, thinking you’re winning the arguments. Maybe this word picture will help: You’re like the one guy at the party that drank way too much and thinks he’s sober.

WTF are you talking about? Oh, you are the douchebag that thinks people win internet points or something. I have called Delta on at least two lies thus far. But when you base your life on believing falsehoods and other BS, no wonder you think Delta is winning arguments. Delta hasn't "won" anything since he decided lying was the best way to "win" a debate. But I'm sure he appreciates the online BJ you are giving him, so keep going.

Trumpsters continue to lose!
https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com...roval-ratings/
Only Trumpsters think losing is winning! I will go with the data, Trump is losing, cannot get out of the slump he is in and cannot get above 42% approval rating. I guess hoping for a win is as good as a win. I will not believe any of your BS until the fivethirtyeight says he is above 42% The fivethirtyeight, which INCLUDES the right wing poll of 50%(LIE) approval rating for Trump.

So here's some really interesting policy to think about...
Is President Trump a closet advocate for MMT?

I was flipping through the channels the morning and I think I saw the kind of stuff that Delta's subscribes to. It was a religious TV show preaching that the Germans were under the influence of the Roman Empire and taking over the internet, which was like declaring war against America. Then they showed some WWII footage of Nazis persecuting Jews.

Great! We have this wonderful thread and I know people that make well over $200,000.00 And hate Trump, they have saved thousands on their tax returns and made tens of thousands on their 200.5k plan but refuse to talk to family members who support trump.

Is it really tho? To what measure should the dollar be pegged, so that we can make sure that there are always exactly the right number of dollars in circulation?

You can't continue to spend more than you earn long term. Currently they are printing money to cover the short fall. This creates inflation which is a fancy way off saying each dollar is worth less than it did yesterday. This is unavoidable if the number of assets are fixed but the number of dollars go up. People who lend you money aren't happy if when you pay them back the dollars you use are worth less than the ones they lent you, so the interest rate demand goes up. This is how money printing causes inflation and increases in interest rates. So if you are borrowing a lot of money (22T, 105% of GDP) and printing a lot of money then a financial crisis is inevitable. If interest rates go up a little bit more the US will struggle to service the debt.

The old rape lie. Less than 1% come from that. Considering this whole thing was set up to begin with to suppress blacks from breeding, I would not hold it in such high regard.
I believe most people support a right to choose but it needs to be a very narrow right and window. Roe v Wade actually was supposed to make that window narrow buy you democrats keep trying to make it as wide as a highway up live birth. That is why your turn a blind eye defense does not work.

Don't you democrats call every one who does not think like you racists and Nazi's?
Trumpsters are not burning down any chrurches. Every time there is one of the events it turns out to be a leftist trying to make it look like Nazi's and Klan members did it. The Republican party was created to stop you racists democrats.
War with other Americans? Aren't you democrats already at war with America? You have zero issues with policies and programs like abortion designed to kill blacks from inception. You try and sign off on every treaty you can to move American money and control of our economy to other countries. You love an open border where non Americans flood in and influence our elections by the millions. Who is at war against America? Democrats. Now you guys have elected a new set of democrats who called the terror attacks on 9/11 as "some people who did some things". Who is at war with America? You have your parties followers out burning down cities and beating up Republicans. Actually being organized and paid to do so. Who is at war against Americans? Hollywood is fully mobilized against regular Americans. I think you need to start looking who is already at war against us.

You don't know what they had to make charges stick, however every article you linked did not talk about Acosta or said he was around at the time but he did not have an active role. You certainly have a lot of time on your hand to research all these obscure people.

I am NOT saying I disagree with you.
But then again, take a look at the last ten years... if you were right, we SHOULD be seeing higher interest rates AND higher inflation, right? But the fact is we've printed a bunch of money and have maintained historically low interest rates and very little inflation.
You are also right that in a vacuum printing money should devalue debt, which in turn should make lenders less likely to lend. As noted, the resulting interest rate rise hasn't happened. But as a practical matter, where else will all of these hypothetical lenders go? The Euro? The ECB has engaged in even more aggressive quantitative easing. The yen? same issue. What other currency you got?
Further, it really won't (or shouldn't be) a financial "crisis," unless the fed decides to go crazy and do something like print a huge multiple of the number of dollars in circulation (i.e. 2x, 3x, etc) overnight. That would certainly cause a shock. But dribbling out small amounts over a long period of time should have observable and (... at least theoretically) reversible effects.
I'm not saying I'm all in on MMT by any means, but I'm also ever so slowly coming to the understanding that the comparison I've made in the past to balancing the family budget really isn't apt. I get paid in someone else's currency. If I were both printing the currency that everyone used, and using that currency to pay my debts, my personal budgeting strategies would probably be different.
Stating it simply, what is the exact right value of a dollar?

For sure there are a lot of moving parts but with a fiat currency you can't get away from the fact that its value is based a lot on the confidence of currency. When you are running the biggest ever budget deficit at the end of a 10 year cyclical expansion it doesn't taken much for the confidence to be shaken. If the economy contracts a bit, the tax take drops, entitlements rise and then a terrible budget deficit looks biblical.
Look how many people are defaulting on car loans, you know how close to the wind you are if you default on your car payment? How are you going to get to work without a car? It's normally the second to last thing you default on behind your house.
You only need to see the speed wobbles the stock exchange got because the Fed squeezed up the cash rate 0.25%, is that the sign of a robust stock market? No, its not.
Batten down the hatches, recessions haven't been MMT'd away, there is one coming and all of the fiscal and monetary stimulus is just delaying it and increasing the coming ferocity. The current WH have no clue it's coming and no tools left to deal with it anyway.

To the contrary, I think using MMT to avoid Great Depression 2.0 was the crowning achievement of the Obama admin.

Avoid or delay....
Yes, I agree that MMT has its merit when used properly and I think the Obama WH did a pretty sterling job with the hospital pass they received from Bush but after getting out of the hole you have to revert to a neutral budget or even a budget surplus to prevent the economy from overheating and hitting the capacity limit with a thud. You also want to have built up enough reserves to allow another round of MMT to soften the next recession.

Aside from the fact that what you are saying seems like common sense, do you have any training in economics? What would a fiat currency issuer generate reserves of?

Got a scholarship in Economics at high school and went to University of Auckland. Did a couple of years but ultimately changed to cost accounting and management. 25 years later I'm a mechanical engineer.... So no, not officially qualified in Economics but do have 2 years of formal tertiary education in the subject. Not that it matters, evaluate what I say using your own research, I'm wrong about most things according to my wife and everything according to Delta.
The reserves would be of there own currency or possibly gold. Or at least paying down outstanding debt burden so they can increase the debt back up to spend and stimulate the economy to bottom out the recession.

The question is how low will the DOW go? It could easily go down to 18k, then, everyone would stop buying and people would be laid off.

What good is having reserves of your own printed money? I mean shoot we can just print a bunch more and do that. I think you are assuming that there's some exact right number of dollars in circulation -- and my question is how exactly are we determining that?

Reserves of your own money decreases money supply which increases the value of the currency, printing money is the opposite.
There are a lot of moving parts and I start to get a bit lost when trying to understand how all the forces act on the value of a currency. But determining the "correct" value of the currency is pretty much determined by the market, but if you increase the supply and the perceived value drops and if you restrict money supply the value goes up.
So you can manipulate the competitiveness of the country by manipulating the money supply but if you need to import raw materials you are pretty jammed up.

From a monetary perspective seems like most would prefer a weak dollar vis a vis other currencies. Fuels exports and encourages domestic production over more expensive imports.
Sucks when you vacation abroad tho.

Yes, a weak currency is a big plus if you have a lot of natural resources but there will be significant pain making the transition when your balance of payment is grim.

Yes, but manufacturing can come back over time if you are competitive world wide. Presuming you are not running at close to capacity with historically low unemployment rate of course...

Not sure what you are saying here, but America would love to run car plants at full capacity and export cheap cars around the world.
Expensive imports also encourage domestic manufacturing.

So back to Trump for a minute: Trump says on the campaign trail that he loves wikileaks, they give incredible information and do amazing work, and he loves reading all of the releases. Fast forward to today: he doesn't know anything about WikiLeaks, it's not really his thing. Is he lying or getting dementia?

No argument there. The tax cuts were ridiculous and unnecessary, especially in light of spending.

Agreed. My taxes were reduced $7200 over what they would have been in 2017 making the same income. But the majority of that was a new type of deduction that involves doing nothing on my part and getting a $20K QBI deduction on taxable income. The deduction has no identifiable purpose as far as helping the economy, and it only applies to certain kinds of income. Now the govt can give me all the money they want and I'll take it. But intellectual honesty says that IMO the QBI deduction literally makes no sense.

I sortof agree -- there really isn't a neutral cable news channel anymore. Maybe BBC, but I'm too cheap to pay for that. CSPAN does a pretty good job, but it's also hella boring.
Doesn't mean that there aren't kernels of truth in each partisan perspective.
By the same token, the fact that there is consensus on an issue doesn't mean that we need an alternative voice to be fair and balanced. We don't need a flat earth society, we don't need a purple sky party, we don't need someone saying gravity is false. These things are objectively wrong.
The fact that everyone agrees that the sky is blue is not a liberal conspiracy.
