powerbass amps?

anyone have any experience or know anything about powerbass amps? my friend said he heard they were pretty good and he usually knows what hes talking about it with audio stuff, i for one am an idiot with audio stuff. im not an audio snob or anything. i can tell the difference between decent stuff and crap but i can't tell the difference between decent and good stuff. so with that being said im looking at doing 3 powerbass amps, a mono for the sub, 2 channel for the tower and a 4 channel for the interior.

im just looking for decent stuff at a decent price, i don't wanna drop a ton but want something better than i have now.

there is a shop where i live in az where they sell thoes amps, they also sell extreme amps and california profile amps also. i think there all in the same class together....
