For all the beginners out there ...dont give up
it took me a month before i found the sweet spot behind our boat. I have a malibu skier with around
800-1000 pds of ballast in the corner we surf on.
Im riding skimskate 54 which is harder to find the sweet spot, unlike the landlock
so dont give up..like i almost did..IT can be done

He's also using a late 80's, early 90's barefoot/slalom direct drive boat. It took me about 3 days to figure out how to loose the handle. One because no one in my area ever wakesurfed. Had no instructions, no board reccomendations, and pretty much the wrong boat. I have a DD malibu Sunsetter
