Dude, I have a '98 X-star (same boat) I can't be bothered with filling fat sacs so I go for a bit more of an instant, lift in lift out (off the dock) kinda weighting system. 8 x 30 litre diesel barrels (cleaned) full of sand across the back (two rows of four). And then 4 x 90 litre plastic dustbins full of water = 2 either side of the motor. The wake is fat!! Big enough for pushing 7's. I once had this setup plus eight people and the wake was too big! and the motor (scorpion) had to be really pushed, it took mages to plain out and drank fuel. In standard form with a couple of passengers my setup is big enough for most people and doesn't drink too much fuel.
