The original Mastercraft Zero Flex Flyer tower is now available in the aftermarket.

The original manufacturer was Xtreme Marine in Tennessee. They still make the new Mastercraft towers. The prior owner of Xtreme Marine, Wayne Hartford designed all of the brushed anodized Zero Flex towers through the year 2000. He built over 6,000 towers before he sold his business.

In 2002, he started a new company called New Dimension Towers and started manufacturing all of his original Mastercraft, Supra, and Moomba towers and then started adding new towers for older boats. Each tower is designed for an exact model of boat - no universal or custom towers. That allows each tower rail to exactly follow the windshield and is designed to look best on the exact boat.

They have about 40 different towers so far and the list is growing fast. I wouldn't be surprised if they get some OEM deals soon based on the fit and finish that they are known for.

This is great news for Mastercraft owners!

Wakeside.com has partnered with New Dimension Towers and has just added the line in. Our press release will follow shortly.

David,

I'm sure that you will be happy with the Monster Tower since that is what almost everyone reports.

This New Dimension Tower will be a good solution for customers that are not on a tight budget and want the OEM tower and the Mastercraft look. The price is more than double that of Monster.

Mike,

Seriously, the New Dimension Tower would have been my (and probably many others) first choice had I known about them before I purchased and installed what I have presently. Cost was not really a factor in the over all decision. As a matter of fact, there several of us MasterCraft folks who were in the same predicament, wanted factory OEM equipment for older MC boats but were told that it was not possible from the dealers & factory. Many of us toyed with the idea of purchasing a ZeroFlex for a newer year similar boat and then having it modified accordingly but decided against it due to the many unknown variables. I guess what I’m saying, am I happy with what I currently have – absolutely. Would I have purchased differently, had I known about the New Dimension Tower – most defiantly. Chalk it up to life’s little ironies of timing is everything and information is everything!

Any way, there are many others who will be interested who have not already made the leap. This has been a long time coming and there is defiantly a market for this product and it has a distinct advantage. I have posted your information on the MasterCraft Discussion board and I am certain you will be receiving many orders. Best of luck to you.

Regards./dle.
