what rpm's do you run at

With my i/o I run at about 2900 rpm at 21 mph with about 2000# aboard.Was thinking of changing to a lower pitched 4 bladed prop but it seem's to me my rpm's are already pretty high.

i dont think i would go any lower since your rpms definitely go higher then that to get the rider up, right? I think im running around 2300 at 21 but ill have to check, this is with no ballast, 3400 lb boat and i think its a 21" pitch high-five, ill have to check ,its been a while since i greesed the prop shaft anyway.

Yeh I probably get up to 3300 till I get on plane.My boat is around 3000 lbs and uneighted I think I run about 24-2500.

1,000 lbs ballast, 3-4 people on board, RPM is about 2,650 at 22 MPH.

3000RPM at 22MPH with 1K lbs of ballast running an ACME 13x11.5.

2450 rpm @ 23 mph w/1200 lbs ballast, full tank of gas, and two people on board.
