Had he been playing by the rules....he wouldnt be in a 10 year "audit" for a $72Million dollar " tax refund".
The returns show the fact trump has always been a failed business man but successful reality TV guy.

No, he can't unilaterally change tax code (the TCAJA was a very heavy lift and relied on congressional reconciliation rules to pass).
And at least one of the years relates to a time before he was president (2016 tax year).

If you have enough business costs, losses, and expenditures to right off ,you can reinvest, and keep righting off. I do think he has had many bad business moves. He has lost a ton of money, but funny thing, he took the risks. and lost some, won some, and like it or not, kept on fighting. He's a mega million Aire. He's and American story, in itself. Many have given up, walked away. Like it or not, he has found a way to make it work.
If he did pay any tax, He is a fool. With the amount of property, business investments and development. He should never pay tax again. Anyone who has the advantage and income to develop, dont pay taxes.

Can’t believe the debates are tomorrow already. We have plans to get together with friends and families to watch the spectacle with beer and pizza. I’m not really sure what to expect at this point, but I can’t help imagining Biden ripping off his mask like Elizabeth Hurley, a Fembot in the beginning of the second Austin Powers movie.

Amazing that trumplovers continue to parrot the ridiculous idea that Trump is somehow a successful businessman lol. Had he simply put his gigantic inheritance into an index fund, he would be a billionaire many many times over. Instead he's got hundreds of millions in oligarch-backed loans coming due. Guy couldn't even make money in the casino business haha.

I agree, he got handed a ton of money, but he has lost billions, so while we can say he was handed a chuck of money, he also lost most, if not all of it, and found a way to get it back. Most would have taken the money and ran. Never built or developed, just sat on 400 mil and drank it away.

You dont have to make or take financial risks. those who do, get the deductions. they build the buildings, employ the people. and get the opportunity to right it off.
If you own a home in America, you can deduct the interest, not sure in NZ. If you have children, you have more deductions. if you own your own company, and have legal deductions, you dont pay tax. Thats the rules. Some are better suited for the role. some are not.

I dont think he wins on business success, he generally makes it out alive by fighting the fight. ignore the 400 mil. as he has lost billions. just like you said. but he's found a way to get it back. I guess you can hate him for that.
Mike Tyson came back out of losing 400 mil aprox. how, must have done something to get it back? There are too many stories to list of the once wealthy, lost it all, and back to riches stories.

Tyson is a great comparison, Another felon who raped his wife. Bet Tyson would release his returns. Yes he did something, he got paid to fight tomato cans to feed the tigers and a cocaine habit. By "fighting the fight" i assume you mean cheating on his taxes, his wives and the American people. right?
The "Billions" he lost were the best kind, OPM, Other Peoples Money.

What, that's crazy. If you rich enough to own a house you pay less tax, if your poor and have to rent then you pay more tax? How does that make any sense? Bernie is right.

the tax rate does not change, the deductions change. If you have financial liability, have taken the risks to have the property. Are paying the property tax, school tax etc. you get the right to deduct it. The renter is living in your home, your apartment, they do not get to deduct the interest and taxes off their gross income. Why would they?
Companies take huge financial risk to build and develop and grow. they also employ the people in our communities and some outside them. Like companies that may have employees who live in NZ. Without companies fronting the risk, you and I would be homeless. jobless, well maybe not NZ, as you can live on the system correct?

oh, and thats not a left or right issue, its the rules that all play in. So dont go off on a left or right issue. We all have equal rights for now. Maybe not in the future depending on how crazy left our new found socialists become.

I would be right there with you except surprisingly, he has done everything he said he would (or made a huge effort trying). He has a track record now and it looks pretty good. Not perfect by any means, but good. Certainly better than most. Only ones who would disagree are democrats and those feckless never-Trumpers because he’s stomped their heads enough with his five dimensional chess playing. Lol

Yeah I get the system, I just think the balance isn't right if the effective tax rate goes down as your income goes up. And just in general I think a tax system should be simple and clean with a lower rate with zero exemptions, "doing your taxes" is an inefficiency the economy can do without.
FYI, I am a business owner and employ 35 people. No you can't "live of the system" in NZ, you can survive but's it's not a life anybody would choose.

It was ridiculous watching Chuck Schumer talk about RBG “turning in her grave up in heaven” when talking about Barrett replacing her. Lol lol lol! First, according to most dems, heaven is some made up thing thing by white evangelicals and Catholics. Second, RBG is anywhere but heaven. In fact, her soul is currently in the beginning of eternal torture. This is not a good thing. No one should aspire to be like RBG. Ever.

The CDC just quietly revised the mortality rate by age group for people infected with COVID-19:
0-19 years: 0.0001%
20-49 years: 0.0003%
50-69 years: 0.010%
70+ years: 0.093%
By comparison, the overall mortality rate for the common flu is far higher at 0.1%.

I don't know anything about trump's financials, but I do know when you own investment property, you claim rent as income, but you can depreciate your asset and count that against your earnings. In the short term, it looks like you're getting out of taxes, but when you sell, you have to pay all of the tax on your depreciation then. It's kind of like a retirement account where you can delay the tax until later. It can significantly reduce your tax in the short term.

Now we hear Biden has been asking for two breaks in the debate. I guess the debate cuts into his scheduled nap times and he’ll need to take his booster of Adderall every 30 mins. Also, Trump is asking for each candidate to have their ears inspected by a third party for any kind of communication devices. That is genius because Biden can’t function without assistance. Llllet’s get ready to rumbllllllle!

The illegal workers he employs pay more in fed taxes than he does. As is the trump way, he is just a grifter refusing to open his wallet and pull his weight. And im sure he has been fleecing the IRS for over 50 years. We have 18 years of evidence proving the fact. If the US was NATO he would have to kick himself out for not funding his share. Those are the trump rules, right?
I guess all Biden has to do is walk onto the stage w/o assistance, his underwear under his pants instead of over the top, and not drool too obviously and hes a shoo in.

Only in your wettest of dreams.
If Trump is following the rules, you can’t say anything no matter the severity of your TDS.

Disagree. The fair criticism is that DJT has done nothing to rebalance the inequities since he has been in office. Rich folks can still pay nothing and middle / upper middle class folks pay handsomely.
He ran a n the concept that he knows how the game was rigged and that only he could fix it. Has he?
Yes yes TCAJA resulted in lower taxes for all but no corresponding budget cuts (increases actually). So collect less, spend more, borrow the difference isn’t really a boon either (unless you are a MMT adherent).

IF?
He is not following the rules. He is a business, tax and wife cheater. He cheats on everything. Its his way of life. He tried to write of 70K in haircuts for that brillo he sports, not a legal write off. He tried to write off paying his daughter 800K in "consulting fees" even tho she was an employee, also an illegal write-off. There are dozens and dozens of illegal write offs. Perhaps more concerning is the near half billion in loans he has coming due over the next couple years? He wins or goes to jail. He literally paid more money to Stormy Daniels and his other porn star than the US Treasury. And why does he owe so much to Russians and banks outside the US? Why did Turkey pay him a million last year? Why did all those other dictator run countries make deposits in his accounts? Do you know what you call a businessman that brings in $350M and shows a loss of $45Million? A failure.
Do you think that yor saying anyone has TDS carries any weight or any one cares. You have the best case of trump defense sickness. You have zero credibility. You already admitted it doesnt matter what trump does to who, you will continue the handies no matter what. Your posts are the literal definition of a suck up. You are stuck with him, He is your cult god. lol. Good luck in the debate.

Did you know that the Trump Org. sold Fred Trumps cash cow(where the Trumps made all their money) in 2004? In 1997, when his worth exceeded a billion dollars, he transferred the majority of his buildings to his surviving children, who sold them for over 16 times their previously declared worth, effectively dodging hundreds of millions of dollars in taxes.
So, it looks like the Trumps, not only delayed the payments, but got rid of the tax all together, which is illegal.

I think you confuse business taxes to personal taxes. Two different pots of money.

Can you cite the tax code where that is illegal?

How ridiculous of a request/accusation though. Same with the drug comments. All Trump wants is a spectacle. He just insinuates bat-**** stuff and his devotees gobble it up.
Can't he just stick to attacking his policy? Trump could win the debate on that, but instead he prefers to lay the groundwork for his failure. Same with attacking the institution of voting. Just go win. Why are you coming up with excuses on the frontside for losing. If he does well in the debate/election, I am sure that he will take full credit.

Assume Biden did have an earpiece. So what? If I were Biden I’d offer to buy DJT one.

good thing he didn't bungle the pandemic response or cheat on his taxes....
Biden wants and ear piece and a couple of breaks? If that's true, I hope Trump continuously points it out.
What?, he can't debate for 90 minutes without resting? But people think he can run the country?
Oh wait, it's Harris not Biden, that's right

AND...he didnt cheat on his wife (all of them). He didnt cheat to avoid the draft (3X's). He didnt cheat by paying someone to take SAT's to get into U of Penn. He didnt cheat in 2016 election. Getting USPS to slow the mail isnt cheating. Constantly saying in public that voting by mail causes voter fraud isnt cheating. Running Kanye West to draw off some votes isnt cheating. Trying to blackmail the Ukrainians to get dirt on Biden wasnt cheating. Not paying contractors for work isnt cheating. The Trump Family Foundation that he used like his personal wallet wasnt cheating. Trump University scam wasnt cheating. His Atty General, Barr would NEVER cheat for him. The entire GOP, nope, never.

Those are the doomsday predicted numbers. When you scroll right the actual numbers are even more mindboggling. Here they are side by side direct from CDC. I was waiting for maskdwelling basement bob to respond to drop the bomb on him , but as usual , when facts are presented he goes dark .
ACTUAL CURRENT VALUES BASED IN MOST UP TO DATE DATA FROM CDC
0-19 years: 0.00003%
20-49 years: 0.0002%
50-69 years: 0.005%
70+ years: 0.054%
PREVIOUS POSTED ESTIMATED DOOMSDAY VALUES
0-19 years: 0.0001%
20-49 years: 0.0003%
50-69 years: 0.010%
70+ years: 0.093%

Please explain how a virus will listen to the president especially when it has been extremely well established he has ZERO POWER to lead a response? Keep chanting fantasy does not make it true unless you are a nazi brown shirt.
