That's what it's all about, Shaun. Thanks for reminding us.
Sorry for the times when I forget that and act like a douch on the forum.
Looking forward to a week to decompress (and leave the forum behind) at Shasta!!

Also being able to watch the kids progress and start the love of a sport that will never die.
The MB does look good on the water also, LOL.

agreed
and for all the time that we spend here bitching about what boats are better than others or what the perfect wake is, we need to spend 10x that much effort on just enjoying what we have.
That looks like a great day on the lake.

agree - we need to enjoy every moment on the water with family and friends...
this pic is of one of the five 15 year olds that ride with my son every chance we get...
notice the difference in water clarity - that is TX for ya :-)

My lake is here (except for the fourth pic down... the lake with trees is a different lake):
It's the natural terminus of lake tahoe. The water is alkaline, so despite looking nice and clear it waterspots like nothing you've ever seen before. Pretty much mandatory that you flush the boat and wash it after every outing. Nearly the same surface area as tahoe (183 square miles to Tahoe's 191), but I doubt that there are ever more than 100 boats on the whole lake.

Rick as always love seeing places that I recognize what a great place to ride. Got to love our mud lakes to.
Not nearly as scenic as some of the others but has good water as well.

Nice pix guys.
DFTR, for the first time in a few years I'm skipping my annual pilgrimage to Powell, which is killing me. That place is sacred to me! I bought my 24 specifically with Powell in mind.

Squeaky - Dang... Hope you can make it back on track and get to Powell soon. Your 24 would LOVE that lake, I know my 21 did!

That water in the Lake Powell pics looks clean like the ocean. The nasty water in our lake makes my boat look like I took it down a mud road & gives me a sinus infection every time out!

Trees pic has to be Emerald Point campground at the best lake in the world, probably fairly recently judging by the water levels. Pyramid also has a lot of ghost stories attached to it. Sunken boats, dead bodies, etc. Never been there, but looks awesome.

Yah - we've been going out of Bullfrog for a few years, but two of us are looking into driving the extra 3 hours and buying a time share in a boat out of Antelope. I'm tired of hauling all that crap onto the houseboat and am ready to pay someone to do it for me !

Garden Point Brian, but yeah you are on the right track. from a couple of weeks ago.
Pyramid does have a lot of folklore (water babies anyone?), and can turn into the ocean (like Tahoe) if it's windy. On the right day, though, it can be glass for miles.

No, but I've heard and see the Antelope vids. We're sold. It's a 12 hour drive from Denver, but will be worth it. Bullfrog is kinda ghetto and we usually head up the San Juan anyway which is a good 10-12 hrs from Bullfrog.

Here is our glass from last weekend. Mid-day even. Obviously not the best pic. Had to send to a buddy that wasn't with us just to rub it in.

Slipknot ~ That sounds awesome! Nothing better than a good trip to Lake Powell. I have to say some of the best water has been the weekends that we stay on the docks. With the new cable the riding is endless and fun for the whole family.
