Im willing to put my Money $ where my mouth is. Yup Ill pay $100 in cold hard cash for your best House music. I have what I think is the Best House Music CD to date. Im willing to share it with anyone willing to submit a CD or a Download for this contest. I have DJ Sexmachine's newest recording called "Sexkade". I know there has to be more great music out there and that's what this contest is all about sharing good clean high quality HOUSE music. THE RULES 1. All music has to be "High Quality" 256KB or Better. 320 KB or CD quality IMO is the best. (Don't waste time searching My space for crappy quality Mash up's that we are all tired of) 2. All Music has to be fully mixed and @ least 74 min's or longer. If your recording has spike's in volume or shout out's or some sort of FOG or AIR rade siren in it, It go's straight to the Delete file. The last thing we all want to have to do is run for the volume becuase of a volume Spike's or because the recording is in clip mode. 3. You submit a CD or a link to Download and your in the contest. You in return recieve a Download or CD of "Sexkade" Gaurenteed to make things shake. It's my brothers latest House mix. Yes it's a HOUSE CD. That's what this contest is all about so don't complain if you like Hip Hop or Country or what ever else make's your mullet fly in the wind. Start a new thread if you want a Billy Ray cyrus or Lil Wayne CD contest "Your Prize" Contest end's Labor Day. Have your submission in b4 the big weekend so we can rock it out on the lake.

Great idea Grant. I just wish I had something to contribute other than a recommendation to check out DJ Brian Bass' mixes, which I'm sure you already have.

G - No no - no relation to Naked Musics Miguel Migs - Yes in deed - he is BADDDD!!!! every single one of his CD's is ridiculous - as well as his partners - Mauricio Aviles, and Jay-J. Any Naked Music CD is absolutely fantastic. Same with anything Julius Papp, OM, Kaskade, Blue Six - all just the best house available. REAL DEAL HOUSE MUSIC - not no euro techno garbage - or wanna be LA house. This is the real deal SF house. My collection goes on and on forever - just let me know ill get you a bunch of cd's - just let me know from those links which guys youre enjoying the best.

The link im going to send you is 75% TNT spec, im gonna go in and change a few things to keep the vibe up and the last 20 mins or so will be remixxed with legit house beats/drum & bass and not the whack german hostel he has in it. unless thats your thing, haha. Hanger Pilot: Humm??? House has so many diffrent versions/Styles. Ur version of House can be way diffrent than my'n and still all be called House. Kind of like saying what does good style look like. It's hard to describe but when you see it or in this case hear it you know it right away. Miguel has a good idea of the kind of house Im looking for. But I would say Music that has vocals and a deep bass line. Dynamic music that's soulfull and has a vibe that makes ya dance. A good house recording will mix up tempo and down tempo over the entire cd.

G - is the Sexkade cd available to buy somewhere?? I don't want to send you anything, but I could just buy it if you are selling. I don't listen to house that much as there is not a big scene in the midwest, but do like trance/techno stuff (Tiesto/BT type stuff). I'm interested in checking it out...

Tj: Sexkade is not on sale anywhere. Go find some what u think is good house and submit it and Ill send you a download. My brother does all his stuff for semi private use. All his mixes are done on a computer so all the sound level's and mixes are next to perfict. He has about 10 full length recordings most over 2 hrs long. I know it's not what most would call a pure House DJ but I don't care he spins vinyl and does the computer and also does Serrato. I just want good clean mixes that I can hit play and not touch the volume or the Ipod for hrs and not have to worry about running for the volume because the DJ think's its a great idea to shout about someones birthday or announcement at Level 10 into the mic. My brother is a pretty good Live DJ but IMO his @ home mixes are hard to beat.

Beatport has a weekly podcast. It's good workout music. But I think it's a little too "Euro" for your tastes, the Ibiza stuff tends to start the same after a while. Some of the stuff I gave Brad a couple years ago came from Beatport. I think he might have used a few tracks in his chill mix, it's one of my favs. I like the way Brad throws in some familiar tracks and vocals into his mixes, it breaks up that "merry-go-round" (circular) feeling that is hard to avoid with house mixes. Jason: Sexkade is a CD quality it sounds so good on somthing that can hump, it's 320KB. All the Bass and Volume levels are matched. So if you push play and walk away your system's not ever gonna go into clip mode because the recording is in the red or of un matched or rouge volume spike or valley's. That's my biggest pet peve. Crappy recordings only sound crappy-er on a good system. My system seem's to bring out or you can notice a huge differance between a normal quality and High quality recording.

Migg's is in the leed by far. I want you to drop somthing in my lap. (Im a busy Mo Fo) I don't wanna have to download 50 cd's to decide what's good or not. Throw me a Fricking Bone! LOL I went out and payed $19 for the new Kaskade I can say it's the best new music I have. Im I gonna be the winner of my own contest WTF. People please. Let's do this. What do I have to do? I think there is 2 or 3 weeks left in the contest,}

When ya hear a good groove, you know it. Even at 2 yrs old, thats pretty cool. Nick, I'm in the same boat. Tried to download a couple off beatport, but they're either too short, not good enough quality or they just suck altogether. The first links above are badass and I'll download all those that are newer posts. Great music, just don't have anything I can submit to get sexkade....

Footwork is great... lots of great local Toronto talent! Also if you are hardcore and like afterhours clubbing try the legendary Comfort Zone. Otherwise there are some good parties in the next few weeks for the Toronto Film Fest. Cobra has some notable DJ's upcomming, Guvernment has their biggest event of a the year "labour of love" and also TIFF brings usually Dubfire to Ultra for a set too.. Check out local boards on www.tranceaddict.com Get all your downloads,pictures and event information in the Toronto area or even all over north america!
