We just got a 05 V-ride and have a pretty large wake, esp. with more in the boat. I have no problem getting up (I wakeboard too) I can let go of the rope and ride for quite a while (20min or so) but I always seem too close to the boat. Quite often my tip is right at the swim grid. Am I riding in the wrong spot? To ride back further do you use a longer rope to start? We have a 6'1" landlock and I think I need a smaller board. I'm 5'5' 130LBS. We (everyone we ride with) are all new and are just learning as we go so no one really knows where we should or could be riding. Any tips would be great. Should I start with the wake smaller or go big right away.
