All right, everybody, way to impress. Should there be a wake division for riders riding behind their own non-V Drive boat with DIY tower? Grant, what have you got going there for a shop? You’ve not only got some mad skills but appear to have a mad facility too.

I have a normal metal shop, welders, hand tools, saw, drill press. To bend the pipe I made a special tool that used a jack to pull the pipe around a preformed angle. I didn't do any of the power coating, that was cheap since I did the most common color. I had them wait to do it until the next time they shot black, about a week later. Save lots doing it that way. under $400 for tower, dash, two speaker cans. It was a great project boat. boat is for sale since I know have a 08 X45

Sweet setup on your first boat. It wasn't till my 2nd boat that we got into customizing things so much. The 94 205 had a tower, ballast, double core heater with 5 vents, stereo, custom swimstep, stripped all the decals, dual mirrors, revised sundeck/back seat, etc..... a lot of it as early as 2000. Driving a boat with a tower up to the gas station back then got all kinds of strange comments...... "So.... whats dat der roll bar on yer boat fer anyway"?

That boat is awesome. He had it over to our house this summer a couple times early in the year. Were you out on the boat those days?
