My dad rides the 2010 144 ATR (same shape) and I will take if for a spin from time to time.
This board is a little big on me so some of my comments may be a little skewed. I
Likes:
-It rides better in chop than any board I have ever ridden. Even with .7 fins.
-It is very stable in general
-It is probably the friendliest shape Parks has ever had.
-It lands probably a little softer than average
Dislikes:
-It tends to force into a more back-foot heavy approach (I ride very neutral)
-It does best if you land slightly on edge (I like to land flat)--Its rails are slightly turned down on the tip and tail.
I have seen a lot of riders at many different levels ride this board well. It would be a great choice especially if you ride mostly boat and encounter tough conditions.
