I have an 01 Supra 22 SSV and thinking its about time for a new prop, i just dont know what size i need. We add about 3300 lbs when we board and about 2500 when we surf, and the boats is really struggling getting up to speed. i dont care at all about top speed, we dont cruise or do anything other than wakeboard and surf, so thats not a factor. what size would be best, and would it be worth it? Any fuel efficiency gains? also, a shop said something about just "cupping" the prop i have now and that would help if i didnt get a new prop. any help is appreciated

Call Acme and tell them what you just typed and they'll have a recommendation. Thats what I did and have been extremely happy with the prop they said would be best.

for $100 we had ours re-pitched to 15.5. Well worth the money. We gained on the whole shot and only lost 1 mph on the top end

I'm running an OJ XMP Nibral # 475, it's 1 1/8 - 14.25x14.5 on my 03 SSV. Best purchase I've made for the boat. Much better out of the hole, through the middle and in turns and I only run 100 rpm's higher on speed (22.2) than i did with my stock prop. Purchased mine through Skidim and saved a few bucks. You won't be disappointed.

Save some $$$ just have your current prop re-pitched like Robert A said. You'll get the same/similar end result.
