I stumbled upon these pictures and I was shocked to see this new seating arrangement for a direct drive boat. It looks like you have to pull the engine to do any work on the starboard side of the boat.

The new 214/X-14 is AWESOME. The running surface comes from the 197 WORLD RECORD hull

I have worked on boat engines before.

What are you saying TK! I don't like the XTI for that same reason. I own a nautique too, don't think I praise malibu because I don't. They are junk boats that are in high demand because they put out a good wake.

you would be surprised ran through one at midwest mc and they are easy just take the motor cover off and your ok like 2 bolds and you have all the space you need.

I must say, for a direct drive I like the seating layout. It has a wrap-around feel to it. Very nice layout.

You wont have to worry about it for at least 3yrs while under warranty. It looks pretty cool for a DD I must say.
