welp, would you? i did it for my boss 530's and dont know if i need to do it for plastic. btw im using 8" pvc with couplings over the pvc. so its pretty thick. its getting pretty heavy and i really dont wanna add the dynamat. i was thinking of also using a batting/stuffing material rather than dynamat.

Don't bother. Dynamat is designed to reduce the sound resulting from thin metal vibrating and resonating sound, the pvc won't have those problems. Just stuff the inside with dacron so it dampens the wave reverberating off the back side of the can. Plastic is a superior speaker enclosure over metal from an acoustics standpoint.
