Okay I finally landed my first TS backroll on Sat. WAY STOKED, at the request of others I am going to post here a few things that helped me and things that did not.

First, the things that helped me were, always drive it up through the wake. I under rotated a few times because I threw it too early and DAMN does it hurt. The next thing was remember not to let you head drop down. For those of you that poke your lead hip when doing a HS backroll, GOOD this helps! throw your head back, almost over your back shoulder (not alot but make sure you look to the sky.)

Second, things not to do. DONT let go with your back hand too early. if you can do the whole trick with both hands on, GO for it. Dont throw it too early.

Thanks Tim, that's great. I think I'm going to try that on Friday, I'll let you know how it goes.

Sweet good luck, for me the hardest thing when I first started trying them was getting the nerve to just cut in and throw it. Dont half-ass it, This trick can WRECK YOU! Just be confident and go all out!

I don't really half-ass my tricks. I just get amped up and throw them too early and too hard.

I agree with Tim, if you don't fully commit you can get BROKE! After I landed it the first time, I cut back to the wake to try again and was kinda half assin it and ended up catching a toe side edge on the opposite side of the wake. I ended up in the ER with a concussion. I could'nt even remember who's boat I was in. MINE! I still can only remember small pieces of that day.

Also, I had alot easier time landing to revert for some odd reason.
