One other idea that came from an ocean surfer friend of mine, he says I should swap out the fins with some FCS fins that will help give me some drive to help recover...

The plastic nuts were not tight at all and the cotter pin was missing, so I think the packing was leaking too. So I'm gonna reseal the hull and torque the packing right. Hopefully it does the trick...

I think I am going to just put it back together using 3M 5200 at the hull and call it good. I think the packing was leaking too, so that will be taken care of in reassembly.

That's at about 10. Wake is cleaner when faster, but doesn't have enough push. Just got the wake plate and should get to try it out a week from Sunday. Thinking its gonna do the trick!
