Could be Edwards, which is mainly used for flight and weapons testing. I know the space shuttle lands there occasionally, if that counts for anything.

Kai, Adam's right. Should have clarified, but that's just military restrictions. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate at all about visiting the usual Mexico destinations.
