Whoa! Mr. Appell is goin down big time as he should.

stevo8290 02-22-2017 7:35 AM

Well yall, he lives on Pineloch loop in clermont :p

chillinoj 02-22-2017 8:38 AM

Aw man that sucks! Any word on what the injury actually is & how long it will keep him out?

MMPres 02-22-2017 9:19 AM

I have no doubt a civil suit will be tied up in this as well. Can't mess with a man's livelihood and expect to get away with it. That is crazy.

cwb4me 02-22-2017 9:26 AM

That's terrible. I really feel bad for him and his family, who had to witness this incident. Now driving will never be the same for them , not knowing what nut is behind the wheel of a car.

behindtheboat 02-22-2017 9:30 AM

It amazes me what people think they really can do or get away with. That person should never be able to drive again.

jarrod 02-22-2017 9:50 AM

Wow! I hope he makes a fast and full recovery. I hope the family is okay. I was involved in an incident which my daughter witnessed at the age of 7. This stuff has a profound effect on how they view the world and other people. I'm glad it wasn't worse.

VinnyA 02-23-2017 9:30 PM

How awful. Thank goodness it wasn't worse, well wishes to Rusty

jonblarc7 02-24-2017 6:21 AM

So what is the story? Did he get hit by a drunk driver?

behindtheboat 02-24-2017 7:06 AM

Wow I didn't even see the link. I couldn't imagine

Stuff like this is why I carry BUT I wouldn't want my little man to be involved in that either.

Exactly what I was thinking. When I travel with the family I often pack. It would have been difficult to not shoot. That may be more traumatic than just taking the ram and letting the guy drive away though. Carrying a gun requires a straight head and the right decision. There are no redo's.

I agree completely^^^^
