wow - those are amazing shots

richd 01-25-2011 5:16 PM

Based on how over sharpened some of those shots are I'd say most of them are pretty heavily cropped. Some good captures but not in the same class as the good flight shooters I see posting regularly on FM.

Nice find Joe, thanks for posting. I will agree with Rich, I'm on the FM nature & wildlife forum everyday and there are some amazing BIF photogs that post regularly there. Check out some of there work at http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/board/41

oh gawd...you guys just can't appreciate cool shots w/o rippin' it to shreds, can you? haha!

wakedad33 01-25-2011 7:56 PM

From me, "Nice find Joe, thanks for posting" Didn't thinking I was rippin the photos Joe, I think there very good, just saying photos equal or better are posted every day on FM.

dakid 01-25-2011 8:25 PM

randy, i was kidding. but yeah, i understand there are better pics out there. i'd be arrogant (and stupid) to think i'm posting the best shiat ever.

dcervenka 01-27-2011 10:47 PM

It's a Canon (Rich / Randy) vs. Nikon (Rot Hancliff) thing... ;-p

richd 01-28-2011 6:27 PM

Those ARE good shots for a Nikon!!! :D:D:D

Sorry if my reaction was a little on the strong side, I guess I've been hanging around FM too much lately!

Better to be a handheld shooting-bird friendly stalker then doing it in a fancy blind with 5 gazillion flash guns blazing.

What he's not showing is the blinded birds lying on the ground in a daze after he get's the shot.
