jealous much? whats the point of posting something like this? keep your low class comments to yourself.

Matt 03-23-2010 8:59 PM

That looks sick Man.. Whats the deal on the fog machine, I'm new here.. maybe i missed a step??? Never heard of such on a boat..

This sucks everyone getting theres out & ready before me... Everyday a new tread about a new completed system... Guess thatll teach me to procrastonate next year...

mc_x15 03-24-2010 10:08 AM

Nice work. Very detailed installation which is much appreciated.

bmcgee 03-24-2010 10:20 AM

Thats a sharp looking boat. One question though, whats the deal on the graphic just above the rub rail? Is it just going to be a small wrap that only covers that area? looks sick either way

its not that simple!

mattgettel 04-14-2010 11:37 AM

It's just a piece of metal with christmas lights on it right? what isn't simple about that?

I know. If I thought it was, I wouldn't have said anything about them. I can't even speculate as to how those badges got that way. Either way, they're sweet and I wish I had some.

ryanbush11 05-11-2010 1:13 PM

do you have any pics of the enclosure you built for your batteries?

wakeandsnow27 05-11-2010 4:54 PM

WHOAAAA wait right there..

A fog machine??? either Im way behind here and this is common or no one has mentioned this little addition.
Now I really wat to see pics on the water with this and the LEDs in action.

factorykitted 05-11-2010 5:47 PM

Oh i forgot to mention...

Built in floor laser with sound activated and DMX modes - angled at disco ball

Yeah the fog machine is something i did years ago on my 2007 23 LSV WS. I've improved the plumbing this year.

ixfe 05-11-2010 7:30 PM

I don't see the point of all the LEDs. Do you really use your boat that much at night? Seems overkill to me... like those rice rockets in the 90's when every teenager with a Civic had to have glowing lights under the car.

i dont see the point of your post. and yes i use my boat at night several times a week.

mendo247 05-11-2010 7:48 PM

So far used my LEDs 6 times this season..

factorykitted 05-11-2010 7:56 PM

is that a lot or a little for you?

ixfe 05-11-2010 8:01 PM

Sorry, Brian. I'm not trying to be a hater. Just sharing my opinion, which is what you ask for when you post up pics on teh interweb.

If you use your boat at night then I see no problem with turning it into a floating disco club.

sidekicknicholas 05-11-2010 8:01 PM

I cruise ours all the time at night.... I would guess at least twice a week from June til Aug.

Our pontoon got done up with LEDs too, its so nice on a booze cruise.... a lot less tripping and falling, they don't attract bugs as bad (at least from what I've noticed), and then you can actually see who you're talking to (not always a good thing)

ryanbush11 05-12-2010 4:37 AM

i don't know about you guys but i'm on my boat pretty much every night on the weekends.... they party doesn't stop when the sun goes down!!!

so is the new one done yet? I see the original post was march... i'd love to see the pics of the fog setup and in action. where does the fog escape to? vents in the boat or out side under the teak?

Great boat. Are you usually on lake austin or lake travis ?

UNvisible 05-14-2010 12:43 PM

And to the guy questioning the LED use... I have 10 feet of LED strips in my boat, and use it at night ALL the time during the summer. Nothing is better than a 3-4 boat line in a cove at night to party under the stars.

both

factorykitted 05-14-2010 1:09 PM

We ended up opting for three Kinetik 2400's rather than the 1400's. Lots of more detail work left. Hope to be on the water for Memorial day.

UNvisible 05-14-2010 1:12 PM

Well Brian, i'll keep an eye out for you. I have an all black nautique with 4 white pro485's on the tower.. you cant miss me. I'm always on lake austin.

factorykitted 05-14-2010 1:21 PM

Ive tied up with you before - I had the Vapor Blue/Charcoal 23 LSV Wakesetter with crazy leds, fog machine etc.

UNvisible 05-14-2010 3:22 PM

Oh i got you. So i guess you finally sold that thing? I saw it on clist forever.

factorykitted 05-14-2010 4:19 PM

I sold it back in Jan

factorykitted 05-14-2010 4:19 PM

the add was probably still up

Nice work guys, very nice finishing touches on everything. You Texas installers are giving the California guys a run for the money. We need to have a California vs. Texas stereo throwdown.

Interesting mini wrap on the deck covering the white factory gel, does the wrap finish shine up as nice as gelcoat?

funny, I would have been asking the same questions as DBC 8 years ago. Since then I have caught the bug and have all the bells and whistles in my boat today.

UNvisible 06-05-2010 8:14 PM

brian has been neck deep all weekend getting thsi thing together. I think we'll all finally hit the water tomorrow.. here's a teaser i'll post for him..

Man does that thing glow! Wow the LED work on boats has sky rocketed the last couple of years.

Laser? Whats that all about?

UNvisible 06-07-2010 4:43 PM

laser is a music reactive laser box, basically shoots laser lines out in different shapes/designs and oscillates to the beat of music played, and projects them on the rear seats/sun deck.

jonyb 06-08-2010 5:57 AM

Wow.....

Ahhh drinking Coors Light while driving, a favorite past time of mine. The more you drink, the more excellence you can piss!

With all the doo-dads, tell me you upgraded the ballast with 500s in the back and plug and plays for the nose/floor! Only thing sexier than a dialed in boat is one slammed to the rails!

She looks mighty fine! But for the love of God man, put out a bumper!!

Drinking while parked. Who needs bumpers when you can four point???? 550's for the rear.

mikeski 06-10-2010 10:18 PM

So I guess the "wrap" above the rail on the earlier photos was photoshopped?

Final build looks great. Start driving this weekend and bring it out to boat beats on Lake Tulloch in California the following weekend!

factorykitted 06-10-2010 10:27 PM

Yeah the wrap was a quick photoshop - would love to come to boat beats but I would have start driving a few days ago!!!

jason_b 06-11-2010 9:03 AM

Where the heck do you find a 12volt fog machine! Or, are you using an inverter? My fog machine (for halloween parties) is WAY too big for the boat. It would be pretty cool to have one--until people came running into the bar to tell me my boat's on fire. lol

hatepain 06-11-2010 9:19 AM

Wow man that's all I can say! I love the champagne bucket :) throw some Dom in there. Seriously though oone of if not the best boat build I've seen, you should be proud of your effort. Youtube video that pig!

factorykitted 06-11-2010 9:23 AM

I am running a 1000 watt Tripplite power inverter :)

Oh I forgot tell you guys...we also installed a 5 gallon misting system - three noozles the shoot down from the top G3 tower...pics comin soon

hatepain 06-11-2010 10:49 AM

Never get rid of that boat.

factorykitted 06-11-2010 10:53 AM

2011 is already on the way :)

05mobiuslsv 06-11-2010 12:29 PM

Huh

Why all the work?

factorykitted 06-11-2010 12:48 PM

Why not?

05mobiuslsv 06-11-2010 1:13 PM

Yup I guess there is that too.

willrice 06-11-2010 1:38 PM

Do you have a money tree? j/k. That is super sick, but I don't get doing all that work to let someone else enjoy it. Do you try and make money when you do that to a boat and sell it?

Nice build indeed. The fog machine is a killer touch. Misters? That seems to be a no brainer actually.

m-

factorykitted 06-14-2010 3:36 PM

yep - 5 gallon water reservoir, pump and sediment filter. Pump and sediment filter where built into the port side rear vent with the lines running up the G3 with 3 misting nozzles shooting straight down.

06-15-2010 9:58 AM

Lol at fog machine? Looks like your boat is on fire.
