Hey i am looking at getting a new board and am wondering which is more important when choosing a new board length or over all surface area????

.....well its ultimately surface area as a long narrow board will support you as well as a shorter wider board.....so then it depends on what you like riding better a longer or shorter board....they will all feel somewhat different .....so again demo!

yeah will have to demo but i wont get a chance to demo all the stuff i would like to so am just gonna have to pick and choose carefuly.

cause i was looking in the board guide and saw that the 135 3ds has more surface area than my current board a 138 murray. this got me thinking that i might try a shorter wider board as the stance on the murray feels a little wide (i know you can move the bindings to different spots but i found i lost to much control making my stance closer.)
