Hate- "just you name and your vote, i.e. make and model. stock wake, out of the box." No additional weight other than stock.

hatepain 09-07-2007 6:32 PM

Oh, never rode without ballast or is it no extra ballast than is offered from the manufacturer?

tyboarder03 09-07-2007 6:37 PM

just plumbed in ballast that comes off the factory floor. Like Malibus MLS is 1250lbs, but thats stock in this sense.

r.g. so should i put down 1 more for the x star or whats your deal.
this is a "vote" only. it has nothing to do with vlx owners. i dont care who wins! this is for the w.w. community to see what we think is the best wake of 2007. so its right here in front of all you. vote now or leave it alone.. roll with it people and post your votes. why is everyone so scared to post? lets see what happens.

d. williams, maybe you could help us all out. as a community, lets have a vote section on the hm page.

brian just laughing, its cool you have a 07' VLX nice ride-both boats MC & BU are awesome, I love debating ppl about this shi+. Im not sure about stock since I havent seen the Xstar ride stock but when loaded up its awesome.

In all reality its good that were all into this sport and each love their boats. Nevertheless when ever there is competition debating will never end....

Tidbit: I wonder what the results would be if we posted this on a heavily sponsered natique/mastercraft site?

Bass Tracker Pro Crappie 175 with both live wells and a few large mouths if possible. Also with the bow mounted trolling motor extended to help get that bow into the water.

Wake is wicked, very similar to the Skeeter WX2100, but a little better transition.

wake_upppp 09-08-2007 9:31 AM

Sanger 215? That stock wake is small unless you ride at like 18. Out of the box, probably VLX. Havn't ridden an Epic though...

this post should be called what kind of boat do you make large payments on. every person votes for the boat they own.

not true I voted x star and I own X2 as well as some others on here. I think the X2 wake is great but I know there are better stock wakes out there.

wake_upppp 09-08-2007 2:08 PM

not true here either. I own a Sanger V210 and voted VLX... there goes your theory...

Quote: "this post should be called what kind of boat do you make large payments on. every person votes for the boat they own."
How did I know you would either have a cheeeeap boat or not one at all? I dont own, but Id say a 210.

ralph 09-08-2007 3:50 PM

The best stock wake I have ridden is the 05+ VLX but who cares, no body rides stock wake.

882001 09-08-2007 7:19 PM

so im not upside down in a new boat my vote doesnt count? unbiased i would also say 05+ vlx also

malibuboarder75 09-08-2007 7:28 PM

Ty, why does it matter what boat he owns? Not everyone can afford a brand new wakeboard boat. My favorite STOCK wake is the

210 SAN

this is dumb screw the wake how bout a biggest air comp

madvlin 09-09-2007 12:01 AM

wake size means nothing

madvlin 09-09-2007 12:03 AM

but if i had to vote it would have to be the epic...i know i cant touch 4000lbs of ballast

greatdane 09-09-2007 12:30 AM

The poll is useless.

1) Ownership Goggles -- what you paid $65K for owns your brain.

2) Beauty is in the Eye of the Beholder -- what you ride on you learn to love.

3) Depth of Field -- most people rarely spend much time on other boats.

Today, any "good" wake boat can make an excellent wake. Beyond the "rampiness" preference, any boat can be loaded correctly to create the great wake.

So, for me, its all about WAKE EASE and WAKE EFFICIENCY.

The best boat makes a wake without a lot of trouble and without a lot of gasoline.

westsiderippa 09-09-2007 12:41 AM

im done! btw the bone crusher looked f--ing sick tonight slammed out with a big crew in it. did you guys stop for cocktails at tiki? pro move if you did.

the best wake hands down is the "BONE CRUSHER" and bryan i also agree that its a beautiful boat. it was the hottest chick at the lost isle event.

markj 09-09-2007 12:29 PM

wake_upppp 09-09-2007 12:32 PM

"The best boat makes a wake without a lot of trouble and without a lot of gasoline."

EXACTLY!!! This is where narrow beam boats like the SAN 210 and Sanger V210 shine, and one of the main reasons I chose my V210.

wake_upppp 09-09-2007 12:38 PM

"the best wake hands down is the "BONE CRUSHER""

I just love it when people post/answer without even reading the question. lol, I doubt anyone runs an X-Star with only factory ballast. They need huge weight to produce.

ponte_06_x2 09-09-2007 12:44 PM

dude chill out. i know that the bone crusher runs more than stock ballast. thanks for being the wake world thread police. i was just showing some love for the cie boat.
