wakesurfing in neoprene socks?

I wear neoprene socks all the time in my shoes when I wakeskate, but work wakesurfing you will need surf booties. Neoprene socks dont have any tread which makes them very slippery. Surf booties will have a rubber sole which will give you really good grip.

I have a pair of the Oneill Psycho Boots for wakesurfing in the winter (or regular surfing all year), but a lot of my friends prefer the Gooru Tech boots that dont have straps

My wife has the O'neill socks. She loves them. I think they are 2mm.
