Looking at the Centurion site and at the bottom of the webstie "latest from instagram" click on that and one of the photos shows the new wakesurf system simular to Supra Swell. I can't snag the photo so I took a picture of it to post. Thoughts I would share the find for you Centurion fans.

Or go to the website and see if for yourself.

While I get the need for the average person to have any easy side swap these days......... anyone who surfs competitively knows the boat will need to be weighted and listed period. You are not getting a pro caliber surf wake off a non listed boat. To an extent the Centurion "brass" may have to eat a little of their own words, but they are still arguably the best surfwake in the industry and that's without tabs. Other companies needed tabs to come close what a standard Centurion produces so the brass is still somewhat right. They are attracting a larger pool of buyer by adding tabs, but I bet anyone super serious about surfing Is still going to list their boat heavily and not rely on tabs

And by the same token, if you think a tippy deep v hull is not going to list when one of those giant dumbo ear trim tabs is deployed....

This is what I don't get. If you have speakers on your tower designed to project 20-75 feet behind the boat, why would you want to swivel and aim them 3 feet from your face firing straight down? Plus they were pretty ugly.

The downfire speakers are different from the larger 2-75 back ones. I personally love the idea and have thought about having down firing speakers of my own before Centurion came out with this....not that it's that new of a concept. I'd rather fill my cabin with sound then be that guy blasting 80' back.

G had down firing speakers on his tower in 2002-2003 so no, not a new idea. I have a lot of experience with this concept and imo it is the best way to fill the boat with nice quality sound.

Because of the Ramfill and the Cats fin, I really want to like the Centurion boats more. But I just can't fall in love with their looks. Even though I think they are looking better than they did in the past few years. They just don't appeal to me like some of the other brands. Besides the surf wake, do they have a decent wakeboard wake? It seems like it is a real mellow wake, unless you add a ton of weight. Is this true?
