Tige z1 vs Axis A22 surf wave
 

I currently have a 2007 Xstar that I have to really weight to produce a decent surf wave. I have the opportunity to trade for either a Tige z1 or axis A22, both 2011 models. Which has the better surf wave once weighted correctly? And by better surf wave, I'm talking as close to pro level as possible. The Z1 for an 11 since the axis doesn't have surf gate

I'm more interested in the overall quality of the wave (size and length) rather than being able to switch side to side. Surf gates are pretty easy to make or purchase worse case scenario

I have slappers on an MB and a deep v boat listed makes a firm lip. Surf systems make us lazy and a convinent wave. My slapped deep v wave is a very close second for sure! Tons of length and push and it has a good lip but it forms further back from the boat than when it was listed.

For surf tige are unbeatable sorry! Even with surfgate axis cant compete when you know how propretly set a tige wake. Axis is primaly a wakeboard beast, Tige a surf one. But to be honest I never tried any tige or axis older than 2014 but axis without surfgate for surf.. i dont even want to imagine! every boats have their positive and negative. Yes i say tige but 2011 is 5 6years and they have lots of electronic and maybe little more trouble than axis. But axis is way more cheaper product.

Axis all day I ride behind my buddies 2010 z1 and the wave is garbage unless you make a suck gate even then it's just ok nothing special.
