I'll play. You do what you want with your boat...let other people do what they want. If the surf wakes bother you, then be pissy, wait for them to leave, and watch them have a great time with smiles. As much as I hate jet skiis and fat kids on tubes, I know I don't own the lake so I have to make due with the water they tear up as well. Before someone says "you don't need smooth water to surf", well...you don't NEED smooth water to wakeboard either. Smooth water just makes the time wakeboarding and surfing more enjoyable.

By the way, the grass has gone dormant in Texas...it's kind of cold.

I'd say wakeboarding is boring and takes much less talent than foiling.

Every Foiler that I have met have been nothing but awesome. At our wakeboard provincials this year, they added a Foil division. Those guys KILLED it, so impressive. But their division only lasted an hour and for the rest of the day the ran the pick up boat for all the wakeboarders. I hope to see them at all the events next year.

Wakeboarding, Foiling, Slalom, Barefooting are all great sports that take some skill. While I don't HATE surfing, it is pretty easy.

Interestingly enough, boats used to be called "Ski Boats". Than they became "Wake Boats". Now they are being branded as "Surf Boats".

I've been frequenting Wake World for several years now. This site has lost many members and appeal.

It's unfortunate that the average wake boat costs more than the US average income now days. This sport is getting smaller and smaller.

On the flip side I'm happy that I own boat and burn through a hundred bucks every weekend on gas!

Well if you notice that since surfing has gotten more popular , there are somany lakes implementing ballast bans etc. I think most surfers do not have a boating back ground so they do know how to drive and in due time have us all banned from lakes. Please stay in the middle

I heard Tige has the best fuel economy out of any boat made and requires no ballast due to the revolutionary TAPS system. And their styling and graphics are the best on the market.

Malibu has the best surf system. They were the first with surfgate. Nautique just copied them with NSS.

Cable really isn't wakeboarding and each and every Raley based trick sucks.
