Today I Learned...

...that you can create your own board graphics on Humanoid's website:

http://www.humanoidwake.com/artlab/

This is such a sick idea! The interface is clunky, but it allows you to upload graphics from the internet and whatnot. With patience and basic powerpoint skills, you can create something sick. With photoshop, the possibilities are endless!

There are a few drawbacks, like this:

"OUR MANUFACTURING FOR THE ART LAB IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED. FEEL FREE TO EXPLORE THE APP AND CHECK BACK SOON FOR NEW ARTISTS AND NEW CUSTOMIZABLE MODELS."

And the fact that you can only choose certain board models, but I had fun just playing around with this. Every board company should do this!

pretty cool for sure
not positive, but i think Dynaride wakeboards was the first to offer custom graphics to the public... but they were a small brand and have been gone for a long time.

besides Humanoid there are these options as well

CWB

SINE

kool thing about Sine, is that they are the only company to offer not only custom graphics but custom board features too (ie length, width, weight, flex, etc)

just curious but how is SINE doing? I was pretty impressed with their start, but seems a bit quiet now. Plus that SINE ad "Experimental Testing" is probably the greatest thing ever

Wow, I never knew about those other companies' customization options either. I also never even heard of Dynaride and SINE. Sick!
