Woohoo...my new stereo system
Big thanks to David (owner), Shane, and Vic of Earmark Marine who did an incredible job on my Moomba XLV. The system is comprised of: 4 Bullet Hollow Point 770, 6 Bullet Hollow Point 6.5", JL Audio 10" sub in custom enclosure (sure beats free-air), 2 JL Audio G1300 amps, 1 JL Audio G6600 amp, Deka group 31 batteries, Pro Mariner dual bank charger with plug in V-drive locker, Wetsounds 420 EQ, HSE Revolution. As you can see the install is clean. For only the cost of the wire they also pre-wired the tower for LED's for later. The price of the system was cheaper than I expected and was quoted an exact price before the install and not a penny more was needed at delivery.

Nice!!

Very Nice. I had my stereo done by Earmark last year and it's awesome. Your definitly going to enjoy it
|
Wow nice setup... Very clean install and it's gotta play great.
I can see they fixed the amps on some kind of board. How would you attach that to the boat so you don't drill any holes, but that it stays firmly in place? |
That's actually the factory amp board
|
That looks great! I'm working up to that type of set up myself. I just bought the HSE Revolution form Earmark as well. The WS 420 is next, and an amp or two...
I don't mean to hijack, but in looking at the pictures of your amps wiring, it looks similar to mine. (From what I can tell...) I just started another thread asking if the type of wiring for my RCAs was adequate for a system. Does your wring look the same as mine? (Like speaker wire with RCA ends?) http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=778201 Again, looks great! |
Daymmnn - That looks super nice!!!
|
Dbdan, they are not speaker wires. Earmark Marine won't go that route.
|
Very nice... I'd love to hear the Bullet products. What do you think of them?
|
A.J.,
Thanks. Don't get me wrong, I definitely wasn't implying Earmark would do a shabby install. Sorry if it sounded like that...It looks top notch, no question. I just meant that from what I could tell from the picture, it looks like a clear jacket on copper wire, similar to what I'm used to using for speaker wire. I'm not a stereo expert by any means, so when I looked under my dash and didn't see an RCA wire that I'm used to, i.e. a black jacketed type wire, it made me wonder...but again, I don't see a lot of marine audio systems so I didn't know if that was standard or not. Thanks again. |
Congrats! Super clean.
What is that "revolution volume control" thingy for on the port under the dash? |
Looks awesome. I'm a big fan of Bullet products and you can't go wrong with JL either.
BB, the RVC is a cruise control for your music sorta speek. It adjusts up and down as you accelerate so that when a rider falls you don't have to fiddle with the knobs. You just set it and forgt it. |
DARN IT, i knew it was going to be something I just MUST have! SOLD
|
wires are clean! got a closer pic of the cable ties?
|
Looks Great!!
|
Can you please post some pictures of the Pro Mariner dual bank charger with plug in V-drive locker ?
Nice install and setup. Thanks. Mario- |
Cory - I'll take some close ups tomorrow when I go by the storage unit.
Mario - Here you go. The Pro Mariner is above the batteries. I don't have a close-up of the plug but you can clearly see it in this pic. http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...ambler0014.jpg http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u...ambler0022.jpg |
