It's pretty easy if you have a solid ts cut. Ride all the way up the wake with the handle at your hip, 2 hands on the handle. Keep cutting all the way up the wake and let your cut initiate the trick. Spot the landing super early and just keep the handle close. If you throw the trick, it'll make it hard. When I was first doing them, I would just cut up the wake and go upside down. The rope would end up pulling me right-side up again, but it is much easier to just make it smoother.

WHEN i DO THEM IT IS IMPORTANT TO TAKE A GOOD PROGRESSIVE CUT and then get a good pop that sends you more up than out. Your momentum from the cut should be enough to get you w2w when coupled with good pop. i hold on one handed and yes I admit it grab tindy more often than melon. like sean said above hold on tight bc once upside down the rope will give a good yank and try to pull free from your hand. just hold on tight and it will pull you around. very fun trick, good luck!

what do tindy and melon have do to with each other? did you mean tindy and indy? indy backrolls are alot more common than a ts melon backroll, actually i don't think i've seen anyone do a ts melon backroll
