2009 NEWBIE Surf throwback with my 4 y/o

So, back in 2009, it was my 2nd time on a surfboard. My son was 4 years old and fearless. Obviously we didn't have anywhere close to a freerideable surf wave, but that didn't stop me.

Love this memory. (yeah, my friend was a little quirky on the video production)

NICE! Cool to see you and Jax surfing back in the day.
Dylan is going to be 3 next season. He's been better with the water and loves going on the boat. Lately he has been getting anything that looks like a board and standing on it sideways, crouching with his arms out like he's surfing and saying YEAH! I guess he's seen daddy do it and wants to do it too.
I think 3 might be old enough for him to try some tandem surfing next summer.

The key is if they are freaked out about going underwater or not. If they aren't, then you could probably make it a go.

Also, I have a kid's shorty wetsuit that might fit him.
