Wake Park near Palm Springs, Cali?

Our whole family is leaving for Palm Springs today for a week long vacation and my son and I were hoping to hit a cable park. I did some research and it looks like "dessert wake" is closed. Is there anything else within a 1 or 2 hour drive that would be fun and have gear to rent? We only get to ride boat, so a cable park would be a great time.

Thanks for all the help.

The only cable operating that I know of in California is Wakeisland in sac. I was in Palm Springs last year and wanted to hit dessert wake but hey had just close. Does anyone know if they are ever going to reopen?

Thanks a lot guys. I was hoping there was a park that I couldn't find on google but no such luck. I guess a trip to Florida this spring is necessary.

Is desert wake closed entirely? I thought you could rent boats, with a driver, and get pulled? At least if your going to be there, still get some riding in

Depending on where you live there is a new park close to Atlanta that's not too bad. I like it.
It's called terminus if you haven't heard about it.
