When the-house.com bought Wakeside.com this year, I thought it would only be a matter of time before they got tired of trying to maintain and pay for the WakesideRides.com boaters forum. Looks like it has been taken down. They might be redesigning it, but I doubt it is high on their list of things to do. Just an FYI if people are trying to access WSR.

did they buy the snowboard side of the business as well?

Yeah a DIY with pretty much everything Phat, Grant, and Darren have done to their boats would be simply awesome. I live for those guys project threads.

I just posted a link on the wakeworld request section about a DIY section everyone who would like this should go post on this and see what we can get

That's something we'd like to incorporate into the new version of WakeWorld. However, I never saw it. Can somebody tell me how it worked?

What else would be cool is maybe like an added section to the user profile that you could post a couple pics of your boat and the equipment on it, much like what wakesiderides was. Just a thought, sorry if it's been posted already.

I talked to the guys at The House this weekend and they said that they are going to get the site back up and running

Sweet I liked the site. It was cool to see how everyone else customized their boats. I like the idea of a DIY area here but just a brag page with pictures was great.
