Painting trailer winch
 

I am having to replace my Fulton trailer winch. Since they do not come in black any ideas on painting the new one?

Bump. Will it just look like crap if I spray paint it? A silver winch assembly won't look good on a black trailer either though.

Silver on black is cool. All the new Fulton winches are silver and black.

I like the silver on black look. All black looks better though. You can paint them, just be prepared to redo it every few years. The key to making it last is the prep though.

Silver looks fine on black. I wouldn't paint it.
