Board recommendation?

I’ve been lurking and asking questions for a while now, and greatly appreciate everything I’ve learned from this crowd. Just bought our first boat, a 2019 MB F22. Picked up a Ronix marsh Mellow to learn on and keep as a boat board. Was riding ropeless first session, and switched to a 2 fin setup on day 2 to get a little more loose and playful. Boat dealer sent me out with a hyper lite time machine for the last weekend. It was definitely faster and more playful. I liked the cork top, but wouldn’t say I was totally in love with the board. I’m looking for something to progress on without having to upgrade again next season. I’ve heard good things about the doomswell neo, the libtech yacht sea, and of course soul craft. Would it be a mistake to jump into a high end board this quickly? Should I just find a good deal on an intermediate board for now? For reference, I’m 6’9” and run between 205 and 225 depending on how much queso I get into. Pic because holy crap this surfing thing is just giggly fun. :)

It's never a mistake to jump into a high end board. They are superior in every way.
