Lake Pleasant, AZ, need a 3rd
 

Wife and I have a 23lsv. We wakeboard/wakesurf/wakeskate but on the beginner side of the skill level when it comes to actual tricks. Usually we take some friends for company and they act as our third. But in reality none of our friends are actually into the watersports.

We have wetsuits to use now that the weather is cooling down in the coming months... Anyone else in the area an avid boarder? It would be nice to go out with some people that could teach me a thing or two, rather the other way around (since I actually taught all my friends). Hopefully you got a suit for the cold weather coming up and not just calling it quits for the winter ;)

You can either post trips looking for others to join you on your boat or find other people looking for riders. It feels awkward, like internet dating for wakeboarders, but it works well to fill boats.

Are you on Facebook? There's a AZ WakeSurf/wakeboard group that has tons of resources to meet other riders from your local lake, other lakes etc. Haute to say it but even the reply time to posts is usually minutes maybe hours. Not like days here on the find a third thread.

Hey, I'm Eric. I live in Peoria and moved here from N. California last winter so I plan to ride through most the winter if I can rally up some troops (it's like spring or fall temps for me). Always down for a lake pleasant trip... hasn't been easy finding riders on the west side though... I have a 2003 X2. My girlfriend and I both love to wakeboard and have wet suits. She's a beginer/intermediate level rider and I'm a intermediate/advanced level. Be great to meet up, trade off boats, etc. I like to keep my boat crews smaller so to maximize water time.
