Longsleeve wetsuit in texas?

Do you think a long sleeve wetsuit would be neccesary for wakeboarding in the winter/spring in texas? If not would short sleeve wetsuit be better? I would use it at the cable park and at the lake.

Yes, I use a dry suit in the winter for the lake, water does get down to 40

Full suits and heater tops are better, if you're adding a wetsuit to it, it might as well be long sleeved.

Full suit for sure. Dry suits seem to be on the decline, but they sure are nice for those winter sets.

If your water never breaks 50F, a good 4-3 is about 100x more comfortable than a drysuit. Less than 50F a drysuit is the only way to go. They suck, but you'll get to ride no matter how cold the water and air.

A good taped and sealed long sleeved shorty would be fine for central or south Texas. I'd do dry suit for north Texas

Im in east texas..2 hr east of dfw. Last winter water was about 55f. I rode in a 4/3 full suit with a rash guard under. Feet froze but everyrhing else wasnt too bad.

east texas here too. I use a 3 mil heater top and ride March to October.

Central Texas here and I use whatever keeps me the most warm and the most comfortable. If anyone has anything to say, blow 'em off. The more comfortable you are the better you ride. Full suit or dry suit whenever needed.
