For me that's little more than a fast driving helicopter.

Might alleviate the need for a rental car too.

That's probably the best Car/Plane adaption I have seen. No one has been able to bridge the gap between a real car and a serious plane both seem to have to sacrifice to get a happy medium. Still seems like there is room for Improvment.

The Icon A5 is IMO the most exciting cross over Toy I have seen in years combining Flying and Water lifestyle who wouldn't mind flying up to your lake house and landing on you lake and docking you plane on your dock or parking your plane in your garage??

not that expensive. 190K and a 3 year waiting list.

Wow: The Icon A5 went from $100k to $200K ???

I though the base was 100 and with electric assist folding wings jumped to $150

And I saw you could get them with or with out land based landing gear.

But if they are selling for $200k Mabey a carbon cub on floats or a Maul on floats is a better deal

The lake I live on is a designated seaport so the neighbors can boot you off if they complain.

^^^ I dont get it if your lake is a designated seaport, how can some one boot you off if they complain/ Boot you off as in You cant Boat! If so then Yes I understand

The lake we are on is split right down the center by 2 county's One county says its OK to land on the lake and the other county say's NO so I guess you could land on the side of the lake that is OK and then Taxi to the side of the lake that you live on.
