That was a Rob and Big Black reference , I'm pretty sure these are bigger then 22's. I saw this Chevy Tahoe and had to stop and take a picture.

Too much rim makes the ride to hard... LOL, that sucks! I'm willing to bet that might do a little more damage they just the rim. OUCH !

Rims and curbs don't play nice together.

xstarrider 10-21-2013 2:35 PM

My bet is dude is still Rollin on that with his run flats. Hahahaha

grant_west 10-21-2013 4:54 PM

Chat could take off one of the 6 22inch wheels that is on his triple axle trailer and keep on rollin

chattwake 10-22-2013 6:16 AM

Hahahaha. Ah that shizz will buff out.

tyler97217 10-22-2013 7:16 AM

Looking at that scuff on the front bumper it looks more like a car hit it in the parking lot or something????

buffalow 10-22-2013 7:34 AM

Guarantee he blames it on his girlfriend or wife.

phathom 10-22-2013 11:44 AM

I had something similar happen with some low profile 17s. Hit a pot hole from roadwork that wasn't marked. It dented my rim in about 2-3" and blew out the tire instantly.
I also had one happen that luckily didn't damage the rim because I had slightly bigger tires on, but other than that same story. It took a fist sized gash out of the tire and had me changing a tire on the freeway.
Sucks when that stuff happens, but it looks like his is still holding air somehow. The vibration must be horrible.

saw this piece of work this morning. I'm amazed at how some guys will make a great ride look like ****, just to have huge wheels.

Street tires and big rims on SUVs and trucks just looks retarded to me.

grant_west 10-22-2013 12:51 PM

^^^^ That thing doesn't know if its a DONK or a DUB edition 4X4^^^^^

My dropped tahoe on 26s is mentally challenged? i.m.sad.

jarrod 10-22-2013 2:28 PM

I should be more specific. SUVs and Trucks with an off road stance.........

The vehicle above was lifted to accommodate those wheels. It might be a different story if it was dropped.

I know this ish is all subjective but I don't think it has to do with the size of the wheel I think it has to do with the stance of your ride relative the gap in the wheel well. People put on these huge wheels and then have clearance problems so they can't close the gap. IMO they need to be stuffed like Nick's ride. Don't go big wheels, low pro's and have a gap - it looks halfway done to me. It is easy to buy wheels and tires - it is a lot of work to dump it and get the stance/clearance right.

simplej 10-23-2013 5:24 PM

If you're gonna add after market wheels I don't understand why buy the cheap crap.... May as well buy a fake Rolex as well.

Lowering your car is fine, but this isn't stance nation....

My last IS had 18's without a drop and honestly looked pretty stupid.... but that one was the AWD and I read a lot of people getting bad vibrations from dropping the AWD.

The one above is dropped 1.7" and the 19's fit perfectly without a rub.... its amazing what a little drop will do, especially when I park next to a "stock" IS350... but this obviously isn't a tow vehicle, so a drop is a little easier to justify. I'm suprised that even on 30 series tires the ride is fantastic with these newer springs.

... but its about that time, snow tires.
