They still don't even have a bag of peanuts...just moved search area 700 miles...not the slightest idea where it is.

Don't see any engines on that plane...do you think someone stole it to part it out?...wouldn't the passengers have more value than a couple motors?

steezyshots 03-31-2014 10:06 AM

Rothschild is now the sole owner of a semiconductor patent when all the others who were sharing the patent with him were on the plane

I personally think that it is not in the Indian Ocean. If it is, they will never find it, I think it WAS the pilot who decided to bring the plane down. His wife had divorced him and he lost a good friend of his a fe days before as well. I think it crash landed in a highly isolated area in India or Southern Asia.

fence_sence 04-24-2014 10:26 AM

What about Christmas Island? A good pilot could stick one there. It's a very quiet airport. Malaysia Airlines do fly into there from time to time. A coordinated effort could pull it off.

The big question is still why? I like to think those people are alive somewhere. Obviously highly improbable but, I just the feeling that that plane didn't crash.

wake77 04-24-2014 6:37 PM

No way it is above water. Too much sophisticated snooping technology around the world to keep it hidden this long. It took them 18 mos. to find the Air France plane that crashed in the Atlantic, I see the same sort of time frame, if they ever find it.

bftskir 04-25-2014 12:51 PM

if it went into the ocean there would be flotsom and jetsom...debris that floats...no debris found. I think they will give up pretty soon.

You failed to mention that debris, as well as bodies, were being pulled from the water within the first five days after initially losing contact and going down. It did indeed take two years after the crash to find the black boxes, which in turn, left a lot of people questioning what happened up until it's recovery in 2011.

Different situation. With AF 447, bodies and some debris found within 5 days. With MH 370, absolutely nothing found til this day.

wake77 04-28-2014 6:25 PM

Yea, but they had an idea of the vicinity of where Air France went down. They were searching 1,000's of miles north for a couple of weeks where they have been recently searching for the Maylasian airliner.

I read about a plane that went missing and found like 50 years later with the crew still on board as skeletons and a whole bunch of other weird stuff like they had flown into a rift in time and flew out of it 50 years in the future half way around the world.
Here's a link to a site discussing it that posted this after the disappearance. It's odd, and we still don't know what happened to that plane, but it could have happened to Flight 370.

Another possibility,

bftskir 04-30-2014 12:41 AM

Crickets

phathom 05-13-2014 4:42 PM

I don't think crickets are smart enough to orchestrate making a plane disappear. Dolphins or mice on the other hand....
