Guess Who's MANSION!

Can you guess which of the presidential candidates lives where?

Who cares

Not a fan of her's but good for her and Bill. Isn't that what capitalism is supposed to be for?

DenverRider 01-25-2016 11:40 AM

Anyone who is the least bit informed knows that the Clintons have money. All the other candidates running for president have money and mansions as well. How about your buddy Trump whom you like so much, Grant? How many mansions in addition to skyscrapers does he own? How much of that money did he earn and how much of that money came from Daddy Trump? How badly did Trump have to manage his dad's money in order to be in the financial straights and bankruptcies that Trump has been involved in over the years? For whatever reason, middle class people and even upper middle class people are not able to get a nomination from either political party. I guess you have to be in the extremely rich person's club before you are even considered.
I'd bet on the intelligence of someone who was born poor and made it to upper middle class long before I bet on someone who was born rich. Unfortunately, none of those kinds of people will ever be on the ballot.

timmyb 01-25-2016 12:26 PM

Trump at least puts his name on everything he owns so if you showed a pic of his skyscraper, hotel, casino, golf course, etc, you wouldn't have to guess who owns it.

One of the candidates doesn't own a bridge but acted like it was his! :D

I'm all for people having as many houses as they wish. I guess the think that got me was what has the Clintons brought the world to amass such wealth.

Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, even Mark Zuckerburg! Made something or created something that brought some sort of value to this country. When you see these people and there wealth I have no problem with it and I encourage everyone to go out and earn and make something.Thats the true American Dream. But the "Clintons" what have Bill and Hillary and OTHER career politicians brought us. They have lined their pockets and amassed their wealth doing WHAT exactly

DenverRider 01-25-2016 3:32 PM

What did Trump create?

grant_west 01-25-2016 3:46 PM

^^ Eric ^^^ great question start a thread asking that exact question. This thread was not about TRUMP but I see your trying to make it about it. Is that who your voting for?

Grant, You are clogging up the feeder on the front page again...

cwb4me 01-25-2016 6:11 PM

It sure looks like the people interviewed were shocked. Whether or not they were informed who knows. They appeared to not know the wealth of the candidates. They had preconceived notions as to which candidates were and weren't wealthy. Of course everyone is aware Trump is wealthy. I think this would be an eye opener for the majority of Hillary supporters who think she can relate to the average working person.

The biggest shocker of that video to me was the willingness of these people to turn on one of their own just because one of their own was outed as having money, like it was a bad thing, which proves their own jealousy, greediness and hypocrisy. It proved the mental shallowness of the democratic party member's minds. It also revealed one of the shortcomings of a democracy: once people find out they can vote themselves money, they will, and the system fails. Democrats have beat that drum hard for years, devisively pitting one class against the other, for the sole purpose of gaining more power for themselves. In a relatively subtle (and sad) way, this video proves it. Why do they care about how much money that lying scum bag has and why would that change their vote for or against her? Is this a jr. high school popularity contest? Looks like it. It also proves the lack of intelligence and inability to think critically, of that age/type of voter. You have to be 21 to buy booze and yet you can have a say in who runs the entire country/world when you're 18? This country is screwed.

markj 01-25-2016 10:34 PM

And btw, having to be 21 to buy booze is a GOOD thing. I just think the voting age should be raised as well. An 18 year old has no clue what the world is about at all. No wonder Sanders is so popular with the younger demographic touting free college for everyone... Pandering to short sighted fools is all he's doing. What's next?

Easy answer: They are none other than some of the country's finest purveyors of atmospheric substances and industrial reflective materials. (smoke and mirrors). C'mon. Everyone knows that. Just close your eyes and trust them like the rest of the lemmings.....

Politics is about ideology, not the individual. If you agree with a candidates ideology then pretty much the ends justifies the means. Attacking candidates who you disagree with based on trivial crap is pretty much the means because you can't get someone who disagrees with your ideology to change that. That's why people (and a major entertainment news media outlet) will cry alligator tears over four who died at Benghazi while giving a pass to 5,000 dead Americans and 10's of thousands more wounded in a misguided war.

grant_west 01-26-2016 8:09 AM

^^^ if you see cover ups and lies to congress as "trival" then I don't think it's worth discussing any further. Someone is sipping the koolaid. The Clintons have scandal after scandal as part of their Legacy!

LOL - Rick Perry barely graduated from college but after 10 years as Texas governor he's a multi-millionaire even though his annual salary was $150,000.00. I wonder how that happened?
