Threw a little edit together from yesterday's on the Columbia River. Good time, great people.

just curious..was that stock ballast and surf gate? or loaded down? nice looking wave.

good question, on the picture it looks like loaded and listet, but that can be the angle of the picture.

It's not listed, you can see spray from the gate on the other side.

That looks listed to me - even if you can see spray. That rub rail is pretty close to the water. Sweet wave.

Thanks! We were not listed, the curvature of the GoPro gives the impression of being listed.. Surf gate was deployed, and were running all MLS full with 2 bags in the locker and one exposed. Speed was 10.2 - 10.4.
Port side wake:

1 exposed.... so you are running bags on the seats? Was about to say. that's an impressive wave for a Malibu... but bags on the seats is a complete fail. Have any shots with no exposed sacks? Looks really clean

MCObray 09-19-2014 11:24 AM

No bags on the seat, just peoples rear end. 1 exposed sac on the floor walkway from cabin to bow (800 Ronix partially filled). The baby was positioned on... worked as a water bed and put her right to sleep :). I don't have any shots of no exposed sacks, but will in the coming days. The wake is equally as long and firm with no exposed sacks. Great wake!

Cool videos Mason, do you think the 350 is enough for the 22 VLX and what ballast did you have on the boat? PnP? Sacks?

Can you tell us a little bit more how you liked the 22 VLX, compared to other boats?
