Google group play instead of wires.
Was playing around with my phone and noticed that google group play does linked audio.
I havn't had a chance to test out the range or quality of the wifi signal but it seems like it would be a great way to link multiple boats easily. I did a quick google search and came up with some interesting stuff. Has anyone else used it? |
This looks cool to.
I didn't know you could connect 7 devices via bluetooth <iframe width="560" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/aDuzz9NG3VA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> |
That tunemob looks pretty slick!

I tried it at the house with a iphone 4 and 5 and got about 100' range. The app maker said best case is 150'. Also should be cross platform with android soon. He said in February a paid version will come out with some upgrades.

I wonder if you need mobile service for this to work? I dont get good service at my local lake but bluetooth works fine of course. Definitely worth looking into!

Both don't need cell signal.

Can you link up devices then play through external speakers? The obvious question is can seven boats link up and play through their boat speakers via headphone output?

Good find, I'll be using it for sure this summer.

Interesting way to sync up the music for sure. Hopefully the time delay doesn't cause that disturbing echoing effect.
