- - How to tell when a good Roam board goes bad ? (http://www.wakeworld.com/forum/showthread.php?t=586855)

I have a Roam and I took a really hard digger last time out on it. I only have one set of binding currently and have to switch them from the roam to my IBEX. I took the rear binding off and around the screw hole is a small crack. Is this trouble and should I return the board to hyperlite ?
What do you guys think? I know the roams are known for breaking I just don't want to be on it when it does.

The inserts ripped out of mine on a hard fall. There wasn't much holding them in there, so I would think this is probably suspect. You could try some resin, but that may be only temporary.

yup the inserts are on their way out on your board. you can try taking it in to warranty it.

Thanks Jason I hoped you would reply. I have seen so many posts of you only riding the roam as your main board so I thought you would know how to handel this problem.

I pulled my inserts out of my 05' roam, they replaced it.
The 07' is built like a tank.

I would call the place you bought it from they should warranty it if bought within the last year.

I have destroyed two 07 Roams,,,, local dealer has always taken care of me on it. I love the board but I now use it as a second board.

roams have the same lifetime warranty they rest of the boards do so long as you have not hit any rails. most of the time you dont even need to take it to the place you got it. take it to your local shop and if they have them in stock they should be able to swap it out right on the spot
