First of all, I please need some people filling this survey!!: <BR><a href="http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=I2kD5UdHl8ZKsDarx9eeFw_3d_3d" target="_blank">http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=I2kD5UdHl8ZKsDarx9eeFw_3d_3d</a> <BR> <BR>Now the message: <BR>I think it would be cool if we could have in wakeboarding what's happening with skate: some kind of crative-innovation explosion!, look at this examples and then tell me what would you do on a wakeboard. Don't mind about any material or mechanism limitation, someone would find a solution for that. <BR><a href="http://www.freeboard.com/main.html" target="_blank">http://www.freeboard.com/main.html</a> <BR><a href="http://www.soularcboards.com/" target="_blank">http://www.soularcboards.com/</a> <BR><a href="http://www.kahunacreations.com/bigstick.html" target="_blank">http://www.kahunacreations.com/bigstick.html</a> <BR><a href="http://www.tierneyrides.com/?a_aid=8c989b46" target="_blank">http://www.tierneyrides.com/?a_aid=8c989b46</a> <BR><a href="http://www.loadedboards.com/media/trickTips/crossStepping.html" target="_blank">http://www.loadedboards.com/media/trickTips/crossStepping.html</a> <BR> <BR>i think that the closest we have from wakeboard is this: <a href="http://www.hyperlite.com/product?PID=9237" target="_blank">http://www.hyperlite.com/product?PID=9237</a> (and its cousins) and wakeskate <BR> <BR>an open discussion about this can get to something good and fun <BR> <BR>I'll be first: i think it would be really cool to try some kind of street-wake-board, with a pivoting nose/tail as a streetboard, has anyone tried that??? <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snakeboard" target="_blank">http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Snakeboard</a>

What the hell is that stick supposed to do? <BR> <BR>That freeboard looks like fun. But damn, those guys are going to find big trouble on the street like that.

evidentally that stick is like a surf paddle for longboarders? kinda ridiculous

The freeboard is pretty fun. You do need a nice stretch of smooth downhill concrete. Riding a rough road leaves your feet feeling really strange from all the vibrations.

I want to see the video of the hardest freeboard falls... especially the ones that are going like 50 down that hill!!!!!!! Looks fun though

I think wakeboarding IS going in the right direction and being innovative. I just went over the 09 product from LF with Chris P and they have everything from flex boards to grind boards. On top of that there skates now have different inserts to add wheel like fins to replicate the feel of an actual skateboard (so you can do nose slides and tail slides). I know byerly had some similar but these are a bit different. On top of that you have Justin Stevens (I think that's how you spell it) starting Company Wake and you have slingshot with flex tech as well. I think these were innovative and not over the top. The stick thingy as a surf paddle??? Over the top for sure
