Boat trailer inspection

Texas finally came up with a way to actually start enforcing trailer inspection for trailers of 4500 GW. They are now requiring you to provide proof of inspection prior to annual trailer registration. No big deal, $14. It was a law for decades but I guess they are finally doing something about it.

Does your state do anything similar?

i have no idea of my trailer weight .... boat and trailer together are going to be greater than 4500 gross weight ... so for that combination, in Missouri, no inspection required.

I just got my tags for trailers for two different boat trailers ... it was a matter only of paying fees.
