No Chance that price is right- smells like a scam.

Is size an issue for you? There are quite a few 21' boats in that price range, but the 23' is going to be more difficult, unless you're going a little bit older. You can get a new Supreme S211 in that price range. The Tige R21 is in that price range as well, I believe. Moomba has a few options in that range. If you're on the west coast, MB Sports makes a great boat with a nice surf wave. All of those boats are going to throw a great surf wave. It will comes down to personal preference and dealer IMO.

2018 Moomba Max will put you almost brand new in that budget and a heck of a wave. UT just had a side by side demo with all the major brands called surf fest. Our Max came in 4th against some heavy hitters and people were impressed. Centurion took the top 2 spots follow by Supra then Moomba, it's worth a look and a demo. Surf boat results.

Moomba is an easy choice, based on price and size.
Thinking Malibu 23 LSV, Axis T23, Moomba max, Tige Z3 or 2019 Tige R21. We surf and cruise on large lakes, sometimes choppy. |
Thanks for surf boat results, really shows $ doesn’t = killer wave!

If they ask you for a 10 or 20% down-payment to secure the sale, it is a scam for sure.

If choppy water is part of the equation, you might want to look at boats with a deeper V. I think Moomba has some boats with a relatively deep v, as does MB Sports. Our MB F22 does pretty well in chop and throws a nice wave. In any case, if you're willing to go a few years used your budget should get you into a large range of boats. New will be tougher but is doable if you buy well.
