The part that really blows my mind is how well they sell. People are still willing to buy wake boats at the every-increasing price points. Rising prices will continue as long as buyers are writing checks.

I'm super pumped to see the A24 and the wake behind it!

i think it is interesting that both Malibu and Supra released a wide bow boat under their respective economy brands first... but then again It might be pretty smart, especially when looking at the newer axis brand to help turn some heads to the economy brand that it is kool and functional too

Supra website.... Looks very mojoish with a little malibu touch....

Luv2wake 06-26-2013 11:53 PM

Not a fan on its looks. Wonder what length. They made such a huge step with the SA. Now at least looks wise seems to taken a step back with that SC thing. IMHO.

tyler97217 06-27-2013 6:53 AM

Cool. I could not find that anywhere on their site. Thanks for the link. I think it looks pretty cool. If it does indeed have the same running surface and interior components as the SA it will for sure be a winner. I got to drive an SA again this week on a demo and man it handles well, has a money wake and the interior is top notch. A buddy bought an SA after the demo and it has made me think more and more about it. I am anxious to actually see this new one land.
I wonder if this site is supposed to be out even.... Good find if not....

wakereviews 06-27-2013 7:14 AM

Well, the link is blocked now :(

06-27-2013 7:14 AM

yeah how did you find that? It seems it is hidden from the site if you go through the front door.

The site seems to have the same framework as the Moomba site, so using your method maybe we can peep the new Brojo!

mark197 06-27-2013 7:41 AM

They pulled the thread off the Moomba Forum.

hp_inc 06-27-2013 1:23 PM

Lets just say the Supra SC looks way better in person than the color applicator that you were looking at and the wake is on point, both surf and wakeboard. Very excited about this boat.

Look at the position of everyone in the boat too. Not even sitting on the surf side.... do tell......

I notice the same thing. I was wondering about that.

SC is a new model for Supra? Or for Moomba? I'm confused...
No pics up anywhere of it?

chattwake 06-28-2013 7:27 AM

Yeah, but that boat is listing like crazy. Boats with delayed convergence technology do not list. I doubt there is any new fangled surf tech on that boat. Who knows though.

The new SC is a new Supra. The new smaller Mojo'ish boat from Moomba is going to be rad.

Chatt you are spot on. I know Skiers Choice has something in the works but it is by no means ready for production. This boat is listing and displaced pretty deep in the water. Can't even see Supra on the side. Just like the heavily weighted Enzo's, once you get to a point people in the boat aren't going to do much to the wake.

They are supposed to not list, but when we tested the 'bu last fall, extra bags were required and a bit of lean to get a wake that was surfable for us.

Did it have plug and play? Honestly if you have plug and play you can fill both and not list at all for a great wave.

yep, it was a fully loaded 23 LSV that had plug & play bags and we stuffed the lockers as full as we could and even threw a bag up in the bow. We had the demo boat for a full 2 days and tried many different configurations, but in the end I guess it all depends on your definition of "great."

cjh1669 06-28-2013 11:29 AM

Wow, the pics bellow are of a 13 LSV with the 450 LS3, only 550 bags on plug and play, wedge two clicks up and running about 11.4. Had a pro wakeboarder and the owner of huminoid riding with us that day. Everyone on the boat said it was one of the best waves they have ever ridden. The top two we have stock ballast and 13 people in the boat with plug and play full, bottom one is stock, PNP, a 750 in the bow and 3 people in the boat. These aren't pics taken at low angles to make the wave look bigger either. I'm 6'1 to give you an idea of how big that is

wolfe_drew 06-28-2013 12:33 PM

Well, we didn't have 13 people with us. Just myself, my wife, 3 kids under 13 and one world champion pro wakesurfers (2 world champs if you count my daughter) with us. My daughters have competed in a few wakesurf events and have ridden behind quite a few different brands of boats and the wave wasn't for us/them. Granted, we were on one of the first surfgate boats to roll off the line (or so we were told) and I believe that they have done some software upgrades since then.

Anyway, sounds like you enjoy the wave, are out having fun surfing and that's all that really matters.

WakeDirt 06-28-2013 1:14 PM

You may have other posts of your boat, but do you have any showing off that paint...its badass..... me like green

Always find it funny when people said they didnt need the extra bag but had 13 people in the boat. Some of us are not that social therefore become best friend with mr. fat sacks

Did you miss the part where one of those pics is with 3 people in the boat? Reading comprehension, it's a lost skill............ IMO all boats need more weight in the bow, especially when they only have 300lbs hard tanks.

I've never had any issue with any of the LSV hulls getting a decent wake out of them. Malibus do take far more weight than a lot of other boats, but once you weight them right they put up some of the best waves I've been on, especially the LSV. Like I said we ran 500s in the lockers, going to do 750s in the 14 we are picking up, and a 750 in the bow on top of the tanks. Zero list what so ever, and I actually liked the wave with three people in the boat and the 750 in the bow than the boat with 13 people, of which were 3 girls in the bow. You have to run the LSV faster with a little more wedge with that setup, but it's honestly super easy to dial in.

Spec's are leaking on the new Moomba and its going to create some stir.

hp_inc 06-28-2013 3:34 PM

The new Moomba is awesome. Great wake. Great package and will be hard to beat in its segment.

Spec's are going to create a stir? What does that mean? A 15' wake/surf boat? A 30' wake/surf boat? I can't take this. I need to see the new boats. C'mon Shane, I know you have looked at this thread. Help a brother out. Ahhhhhh, it is friday and suppose to be in the 80's-90 this weekend in Seattle.

bhsupra22v 06-28-2013 7:13 PM

Want to see more of this SC... Length 23???

dezul 06-30-2013 8:46 PM

Nothing like being on the lake the last two days and seeing an Axis A24 with surfgate each day. It was the same one but on two different lakes. I would post a pic but the boat want anything impressive. It was decaless. The only way we knew it was a 24 was the back chrome piece on the vent. I have no comment on the wake. Some pro's where riding it while i was pulling people.

dezul 06-30-2013 8:57 PM

Also, we didnt take any pics of it. I tried to call it over but they refused. Not a big deal though. It looks like a longer A22. Sweet boat though. No comment on the wake.

boardjnky4 07-01-2013 7:07 AM

a little birdy told me that the wake on the A24 is HUGE

chattwake 07-01-2013 7:20 AM

^^^^ This. And coming from someone who may have been in an A24 already, I can say it is a safe bet people will be blown away with how HUGE the interior may be.

If it is a 24' boat I would expect it to have a huge interior.

I'm sure the wakeboard wake will be incredible on the A24 but I would be curious to know what the wakesurf wake would be like as well compared to the A22 (just saying for someone who has already been in an A24 and who has owned two A22's).

Fiveflat 07-01-2013 9:07 AM

Sweet looking boat, but not sure I like the transom seating they did. Looks hard to sit in and turn around and looks like it would eat up storage. I don't see how you'd add bags to it in the lockers since it only comes with 1000lbs of ballast

You could just add ballast under the wings. I wonder what size you could fit though. Surely that was addressed.

Word on the street is dealers will have an opportunity to demo the A24 in the very near future...very near. I've called my dealer and they have been great to me and my Axis I have but understandably they are not giving out info. Even when I mention a rumored feature or upgrade in the A24 I get a giggle and "I can't tell you right now" but at least he's telling me I'm "warm" on the upgrades I've heard of. I have no knowledge of hull specs (length, beam, weight, or any hull tweaks other than stretching an A22 to 24 feet...more like 24'6" or close).
